Unexpected Revelations!!

Respective towards the demon god's words of not to disturb him, all the demons stepped back at present, allowing Zamiel to move ahead.

However, Zamiel didn't know what exactly to do here, and his shoulder, the wound pained.

So, it was true. Wounds would not heal the way they should in this world.

The real punishment for a guess?

As much as the cave he witnessed wondered him, the mountain afar as well did. Hence, he decided to climb it no matter what, to embrace the sense of peace it provided from the distance itself, completely.

However, as he travelled ahead, the demons often attacked him, their appearance sometimes a shock and sometimes a surprise.

Zamiel barely managed to attack them for all his time went off by him trying to protect himself. He though successfully managed to fight well, despite his efforts of defence, Zamiel was hurt with few minor injuries.

After all, the rage of ancient demons was something out of his hands to handle. And the centuries rivalry was something else which made him nothing more than a prey here. Let alone him succeeding in the fight.

After many fights already done, he couldn't expect any less, Zamiel briefly sat down on a rock, catching his breath. As he gazed his bracelet, he witnessed it shining in green. A soft smile took over him.

He witnessed it shining several times by now, even while he was fighting. And it's been already two days here!

Whole two days, without her presence!!

"Just as much as you Amara," his fingers traced the bracelet's design, "I am missing you!!"

************

As Amara and Ralph were done with the baking of the cake, they invited Sarah and the couple as well to join.

Amara and her parents though had those fragments of precious moments spent not long back ago, cutting the cake with them in the anniversary celebration, it was indeed a new feeling for Sarah and Ralph.

After two years, they are celebrating the presence of their aunt and uncle, and no words could justify their contentment.

As they sat down for the talk, forgetting all the worry some briefly, just open for a friendly talk, the calling bell ringed.

Amara getting up, heading to check who it was, was surprised to have Oliver standing ahead.

"Unexpected, anything wrong Oliver?!" Amara asked concerned for she still had the fact in mind that she was on leave, leaving them on their own in work.

Oliver gave a gentle denial with a shook, "I came up to check on you, it was difficult to digest you needed one week leave. I was afraid something was....serious?"

Amara laughed with a shake of hands, "I'm completely alright!!"

"Just needed some personal space!!" She shrugged.

Oliver pondered over it, is he assumingly disturbing her somehow?!

"Who's it?!" Sarah followed out, "Oliver, what a surprise, come in!!"

Amara soon realising her mistake of not yet welcoming the man and so, invited him in immediately with a smile. "Sorry to let you stand for long!"

Oliver shook his head in a 'nothing bothering' way, getting in.

Ralph was as well surprised by the man's presence, and this time even Oliver was, to see both of his colleagues.

"You both didn't tell me about your visit here, I would have joined!!" Oliver complained softly.

"Neither you did, Oliver!!" Ralph shrugged.

Amara and Sarah laughed.

Oliver with a sigh accepted defeat, wonderment soon taking over him as his gaze shifted to the sides, settling on the couple seated on sofa.

He kept staring them in silence, not knowing who they were and Amara who noticed it with a smile reached him, "They are my parents; Mr&Mrs.Harry Winslow!!" introducing her parents to him for which he briefly yet hesitatingly provided a slight bow of respect, "And," her hands rested on either of his shoulders, "He's my friend, Oliver!!", she said with a smile.

Isobel and Harry smiled, while Oliver only wondered. Friend? Not a colleague?! A small smile crept over his lips.

"Why don't you sit and have a talk with us for a while?!" Isobel offered.

Oliver could do nothing more than nodding in agreement, joining them.

He never heard about her parents from her in the last two years, neither did he see them any way whenever he visited her house or dropped her. So their sudden presence was quite wondering.

"We have heard about you Oliver, and we can't help but feel thankful for you, to always be able to support our daughter whenever needed." Harry expressed.

Oliver shook it away with an awkward smile, "It's flattering."

"I have never heard about you couple, neither did I get to see you, so I might take some time to adjust!" Oliver explained, in the beginning itself, avoiding any misunderstandings.

Harry nodded, while Isobel with a smile spoke out, "It is because we were out on a business trip." She lied effortlessly.

Oliver's gaze narrowed in wonderment, "Business....trip?!"

"Yeah, we were on a trip for the acknowledgement about modern medical technologies and machineries. We might soon have some ordered for our hospital!!" Harry covered up.

However, Oliver's wonderment barely vanished, "Hospital....?!"

Amara felt the situation's imbalance enough while now her parents wondered, not knowing what else made Oliver clueless.

Sarah and Ralph remained silent staring the others, not knowing what to speak.

"They are speaking about Sion hospital!" Amara explained.

"They are the founders!!" Sarah added noticing his still inexplicable feeling.

That came by surprise for Oliver, her parents were the founders of Sion hospital?!

His mind almost immediately reminded him of all those moments when Amara used to donate her savings to the hospital charity trust, always visited the hospital on weekends despite them being her only day off's.

So.....she probably was doing all of those things cause.... it's her hospital after all and she was looking after it in her parents' place?

Oliver just sighed defeated somehow, "I never knew it!!" his face wore a faint smile as he admitted it.

"Why would you still....want to work as an employee, head? I cannot understand it!!"

Amara's gaze wandered briefly in hesitation, what would she say, that she had chosen it as a distraction from the mourning of her parents' death, whom he is having seated right in front?!

Sarah again, spoke out in help, "Just like Ralph, she wanted to start her career from the scratch, which would help her locate herself in all the situations of an employee. That would help her understand her workers more, wouldn't it?!"

Oliver nodded in agreement only until what Sarah exactly said had struck him, "What do you.....mean by 'like Ralph'?!"

Isobel and Harry exchanged a glance, realisation taking over them that the man knew nothing about his colleagues.

"We might soon have him submitting his resignation for, his parents can soon announce him as the CEO of Glow Pacific!" Amara shrugged.

Resignation? CEO?!

Glow Pacific?! The globally popularly branded cosmetic products company?!

So Ralph was the heir?!

"But .....why the pressure of work when....you can lead an easy life?!"

Isobel smiled, "Life's never easy Oliver, just the difference in perceptions!!" saying it with a shrug.

"Well well, the company is owned by her uncle, so, not a problem I guess, we have her support!!" Ralph joked.

This was even more surprising for Oliver.

Sarah hit Ralph with a shake of head, "You are portraying it as if she took advantage of it!!"

Amara chuckled, "May be, he really thinks I did so!!"

"Alright, now do not corner my daughter," Harry leaned forward, "else I might consider turning your statement into reality!!"

"My friend won't ask back if I say him to remove you!!" Harry quipped.

"That sounds better!!" Sarah laughed, for which Ralph looked away, with a sigh admitting "Alright, I accept defeat!!"

Everyone laughed, however Amara was observant enough to notice the bothering look on Oliver's face.

Oliver couldn't quite believe the fact that even the chairman of the company he was working in, was her uncle.

And, as he already knew, Sarah was Amara's cousin. So they were all a family.

Oliver rested back against his seat, feeling a bit imbalanced suddenly, so, they were rich enough yet had chosen to work in low?

His felt a sting at his heart at the sudden realisation only he could have, a faint smile taking over him. "That's a lot....to know, I guess?!" he laughed at it.

Isobel exchanged another hesitant glance with her husband before shifting in her seat, leaning forward, "Oliver, let the talk go aside. What would you like to have? Tea or coffee?"

"How about an addition of a piece of cake with it?" Harry added with a nod.

Oliver provided a gentle shook, "So pleasant to have the offer, but I'm getting late for the orphanage visit!" Saying, he stood, making them stand as well, "It was a pleasant meeting, I feel glad to have seen you, I'll take my leave!" He said with a slight bow again, for which the couple only could nod.

Oliver then exchanging a nod with his colleagues got ready to leave.

"I'll send him off!" Amara declared, shortly leaving along with him.

As he was about to get into his car, "Oliver?" Amara called him softly, making him turn back to her.

She watched him in silence for a second, "Why do I feel like you are bothered by something?!"

Oliver gave a denying shook, "Bothered? I'm not, head!"

Another moment of silence took over before she with a sigh, stepped closer, "Did you feel estranged somehow?"

Oliver just silent-gazed her, not knowing how to respond.

"You think we have hidden the truth?!" She asked.

Oliver smiled, "I did not, head! It was just slightly difficult for me to take all of it at once. For, I realised....we both are from two completely different worlds!!"

"Yet, we worked together, which alone feels great!!" He added with a faint smile.

"There's nothing like different worlds between us, Oliver. And .... I had never intend to keep it from you, I just never felt like to say it out. And, there wasn't even any need, was it?!"

Was it? He didn't know!!

May be, yes, there indeed was!! For, if he had known, he wouldn't have dreamt the now impossible.

Oliver smiled, "Well whatever it is, you do not need to explain yourself, head!" he assured, "Anyway," he took a brief glance at his watch, "getting late, visitors are not allowed in the late night!!"

Amara nodded knowingly, "Have a safe journey!!"

Oliver smiled getting into his car, while Amara attempted to leave.

"Head?" Oliver called out softly, stopping her who watched him now in silence. "I felt good when you introduced me as your friend and not a colleague!!" Oliver confessed.

Amara smiled, "You aren't just a friend, but a family, Oliver!!"

"Just like Sarah and Ralph!!" She added.

Family?

Oliver smiled wholeheartedly, holding back those glimpse of tears, "That.... means a lot!"

"Thank you, head!!" He whispered.

Amara with a sigh reached him, her hand sliding into the car through window space, patting his head, "Getting emotional and all?"

He chuckled, "Couldn't help I guess!!"

She chuckled as well, pinching his cheek, "Alright, see you in the office soon then!!" she stepped back.

He smiled, starting the engine, heading to the orphanage.

As she watched him get away, a sigh escaped her, she only wished he wouldn't feel seperated from them in anyway after knowing the truth now.
