Desperate Amara!

Amara parked her car, looking up. Taking in the view of the company.

RENOWAs, the name proudly displayed.

A sigh escaped her, should she really do this?

Would Zamiel think she wasn't patient or understanding enough of him to do this?!

Taking a deep breath, she stepped out, deciding to just go ahead.

Amara took baby steps which yet were portrayed confident.

Reaching the receptionist, "Hello, I'm Amara Winslow. I had an appointment with Mr.Daniel Richardson. He didn't show up and so I had to take the initiative of visiting!!" Amara explained, showing her visiting card as the CEO of Sion hospital, rather using her journalist id. "Could you please arrange me a talk with Mr.Daniel? Actually it's about an immediate dealing issue, so....could you.....?!"

The lady was convinced however remained resistant, "I'm sorry for the discomfort you went through Miss Winslow, but, I cannot approve or arrange any such meeting without proper instruction!!"

Amara sighed, "Could you just connect me with him by a call at least? We know each other personally, he wouldn't deny for it!!"

"I'm sorry mam, Sir Daniel isn't available since few days, so we cannot do that for you, however....you include you know him personally, I suggest you call him to his personal number?!"

Amara hesitated, "I cannot, my phone is broken and under repair now!"

The lady looked helpless.

With a sigh, Amara nodded, "I'll take my leave then, thanks for trying to help me!"

The lady sighed, "I understand mam, but I can suggest you an alternative!"

That took her, "I wonder what....it is!"

"To anyone who fixes an appointment with Sir Daniel and fails to attend or have it, we let them deal it with Sir Roshan instead, temporarily. So....if you're okay with it, I can arrange a minute talk with Sir Roshan for you!"

Amara tried to digest it, Roshan Richardson, Zamiel's brother! Should she really do this now?!

"That way, you can have your issue dealt while also acknowledge the reason for the failed appointment?" The lady slightly shrugged with a smile.

That was convincing enough, but, what would Zamiel's brother think of her? And Zamiel? Would he be annoyed to know this?!

Whatever, she didn't have any other option, after now, he would any way know that she visited here, asked for him.

Now ultimately, he will know it anyway, so why not do everything possible and take care of it later, all for once?

"I would like to go with the opportunity!!" Amara said with a smile.

The lady smiled back, "Please wait and feel free in the cafeteria, while I make a call to Sir Roshan!"

Amara gave a half hearted nod, going for the cafeteria, taking a seat.

However, she was soon occupied by the view, a small fountain stood in the centre of the place, every visible corner decorated by plants, including the rooftop which visibly has an open view of the sky with its unique squre dome design, being covered with string type plants, protecting them from the heavy sunlight.

It felt like heaven, to sit here and just watch.

However, what if it begins to rain?

"That wouldn't be a problem, the roof has another thin transperant layer above!!" An unknown voice answered her, making her realise she was being loud with her thoughts!

Amara stood almost immediately when she witnessed Roshan standing ahead, with a smile. "Ah, I didn't know that!" She smiled.

Roshan offered a generous smile, "The ideology behind the interior designing of this place was my brother's suggestion!"

Amara wondered, was it?

"He says, this environment makes him remember some of his sweet memories, making him feel like this place to be heaven!" Roshan chuckled.

Amara smiled, such a nature loving person! "That's something sweet to hear!!" She commented!

Roshan agreed. "I'm Roshan Richardson!" He initiated a handshake.

She hesitatingly took it.

"And if I'm not wrong, you're Miss Amara Winslow, right?"

Amara nodded, "It's surprising to know you are acknowledged about me!"

Roshan waved his hand, gesturing her to take her seat while he did as well, "Of course I do!"

"No other businessman dared to ask my father about my marriage personally, but you, the journalist Amara!"

She was taken aback for a second, so he knew it, "Despite knowing me as a journalist, why would you approve of meeting me personally?!"

Roshan laughed, of course, she put it as if asking 'Aren't you scared of leakage of information?'

"It is because I was curious to meet you!" He said instead.

"And ...why?"

"Why wouldn't I want to meet the person who my brother always speaks about?"

Okay.....that was a surprise!!

Zamiel talks about her? Always?!

"What.....does he speak about me?"

Roshan laughed again, "Nothing bad yet, sister!!"

"Sister?"

"Can I not address you such way? Sorry if I can't!!"

She hesitated for a second before giving an assuring smile, "You can...!"

Roshan smiled, leaning in, his hands resting on the table, "So, how may I help you?!"

"Zamiel....I mean, Daniel! I need to meet him!" Amara requested honestly despite cursing herself inward for displaying herself desperate.

Roshan smiled, "Brother Zamiel said he might return soon though!"

"Return from where??"

Again! Why is she that desperate?

A sigh!

Whatever it may seem as, she just needs to know where he is, and the latter is....the truth! Truth about everything!!

Roshan took a pause as if calculating something, "I don't really know!" he replied sincerely.

Amara sighed disappointed, so all her efforts were nothing!

Zamiel, where on the earth are you?!

How could he just appear, change her life with ease, make her happy, only to just disappear this way? Without any explanation? Just how could he??

"You seem to be.... throwing tantrums at my brother, inward!" Roshan expressed nervously.

Amara chuckled, shaking her head with a smile, "I'm just disappointed. Could you kindly convey him the message about my visit incase if he gets in contact with you?!"

Roshan nodded assuringly, "But, I can suggest you an alternative though!"

A frown took over her, "I wonder what it is?"

Roshan shrugged, "It has happened many times that he had chosen to isolate himself for several days, for no reason!", he chuckled, "His destinations however always differ, but, if we are lucky, you can find him at his house!!"

Amara pondered over it, "Am I supposed to assume, you're to give me his address?!"

Roshan shrugged again, "Isn't it what I said meant?!"

Amara smiled, leaning forward as well, "Doesn't the act bother you for you know I'm a reporter!"

Roshan chuckled, "Even if it's to be bothered, my brother's sure gonna take care of it!!" he said with a wink.

Amara frowned, is this man indirectly showing off the fact that his brother's a superstitional being?!

"Moreover," he leaned more closer, "I trust you!!"

Amara chuckled looking away, pushing herself back against the seat.

Roshan smiled, taking out a card, sliding it through the table's surface, towards her, "So, do not break my trust!!" he said with another wink, tapping on the card twice before pulling himself back to his seat.

Her brow raised and with a smile, she took it almost immediately, treasuring it into her handbag.

"As you got what you want, you may as well leave!" Roshan with another shrug got up, "It was nice meeting you, sister Amara!" he again initiated the handshake.

Amara smiled, this time willingly accepting his hand, "Thank you for the help!"

He smiled, "I hope we'll meet in a more friendly environment next time!!"

Amara nodded, "Sure!".

As he waved her a goodbye, she left the place, deciding to drive to the address she have attained.

Roshan sighed as she left and a sudden voice surprised him; "I knew you were just bluffing sweet nothings! You're already seeing another woman?!"

Roshan had almost facepalmed but just a chuckle escaped as he looked at his sister, Sia, in amazement for how well can she imagine things!

"I'll not let you betray my sister-in-law!!" She scoffed folding her hands, while he just took the tip of her ear into his fingers, turning it. "How dare you speak that way to me?!" Roshan asked with a smile.

Sia screamed however soon lowered her voice for they were at the workplace, "Brother, I apologise, now leave me!!" she pleaded with puppy eyes.

With another chuckle, he let her go and she instantly hit him on shoulder, "Such behaviour with me, I'll complain to big brother!!"

Roshan waved his hand for which she rolled her eyes, "Anyway, who she is? You were friendly with her!!" Sia expressed.

Roshan scanned his surroundings before leaning to whisper in her ear with covered hands, "If lucky, our sister-in-law!!"

Sia gasped, "What are you--" her mouth was soon shut by his hands, halting her.

Realising her mistake, she stepped away, "Do you..." she whispered back, "really mean that?!"

Roshan nodded.

Sia however was confused, "But he loves--"

"It is her!!" He assured!

Her eyes widened, so finally?! A huge smile took over her, "She's just beautiful!!"

************

Driving, Amara was surprised how isolated his place looked. The guard greeted her saying he was told to allow her. On one hand, she felt thankful for Roshan's willing assistance while the other hand, she wondered if any could enter in without permission.

She guess not!!

As she smiled at the guard, he surprisingly handed her a folded paper, which wondered her. With a hesitated smile this time, she drove in, parking the car right in front of his house.

Stepping out, she should admit she was taken aback by the infrastructure. With no much floors, the building stood wide enough, with unique designs, making it look like a mansion, walls painted in creamy white with golden borderings everywhere possible. And string like plants decorated the selected parts of the building.

Just like the cafe?!

It is a mansion in portrayal and he lives here alone, like a sort of prince?!

With a chuckle she entered in, however, the lock puzzled her.

What the....

What should she do now??

Amara begins to think of any possible solution and it strikes to her that the guard has given her something.

Immediately pulling it out her handbag, she reads what's written in it, and with a smile, tries the number '1502'. Her smile widened to have the door unlocked, Roshan was indeed her saviour today!!

As she stepped in, shutting back the door, she was taken aback to witness the unique furniture.

Royal-like furnished designings, with seemingly antiques placed for decoration!

Taking in the lavish look of the living room, she wondered if the house was empty. Wasn't she lucky enough to meet him here?!

With a sigh, she rather decided to explore his house.

The man always appeared out of blue in her house, room and ....mind!!

It was only fair to reciprocate it with exploring his house despite his absence, and nothing wrong!

As she wandered along the rooms, the kitchen had her heart, it was so clean, neatly arranged.

Does he cook?!

The thought made her smile, with a shook she continued, her hand hesitated upon opening the door which seemingly was his bedroom. Her fingers tapping on the knob, deciding whether or not to enter.

She sighed, didn't he appear in her bedroom as well?!

As if that defended her, she opened the room, again taking in the peaceful look.

The environment in the room, in a way gave her a sense of warmth.

She immediately went to slide off the curtains letting the evening glow of the sun enter in through the closed windows.

As soon as the sunlight took over, the room turned even more brighter and warmer.

Amara stepped back, her hands holding eachother as she took a last view.

A soft smile taking over her, even the bed was tidy and arranged.

However her smile began to replace itself with a worried look when she witnessed a shirt with blood stains, laid on the bed.

Her heart skipped a beat.

What was this now?!

Amara stepped back, going unnoticed by the sudden creaking sound of opening a door.

Zamiel who seemingly appeared out of his bathroom, was surprised to see her.

Amara kept stepping back in fear, her thoughts racing, concerned about him.

What just happened him??

With another step, she collided with a body, turning back in tense only to realise it was him, however losing her balance by the sudden turn, her leg slipping.

Zamiel in an immediate response, held her by waist preventing her fall.

Her heart skipped another beat!!
