After Talon and Crystal returned to camp from their morning run, they were greeted by the delicious aroma of freshly cooked food.
Crystal sniffed the air, glancing toward their shared kitchen area.
"The food smells incredible," she murmured, eyes lighting up.
Talon chuckled. "Looks like that jog worked up your appetite."
"Of course," she replied, smiling. "But… something's different. The scent has more variety today."
She closed her eyes briefly, taking a deep breath to savor the aroma filling the air.
Just then, Alice appeared, holding a dish of grilled fish served on a banana leaf, placing it right in front of Crystal's nose.
Crystal jumped back in surprise.
"Alice! You scared me!"
Talon and Alice laughed at Crystal's reaction.
"Crystal, I think your sense of smell is getting sharper," Alice teased, handing her the dish.
