Where Did the Monkey Go?

"Master! Master! Have you reached there yet?!"

Uh...

Embarrassment appeared on Tang Monk's face. He had been so caught up in pondering life, feeling heroic, that he had forgotten about his precious disciple. The poor child was still trapped down the mountain, waiting for him to rescue him...

Mr. Li had said that this monkey was crucial, and he needed to grasp hold of him quickly! Tang Monk nodded vigorously.

After looking around for a moment, he easily found that glaring golden plaque. He reached out and peeled it off.

...

"Huh?"

Nothing happened?

Wasn't it said that after peeling off this thing, the monkey would be able to come out? Show some reaction!

Tang Monk forcefully stomped on the mountain beneath him, and a big question mark appeared on his shiny bald head.

"Master! Come down, move farther away!"

The echoing shouts of the monkey came from below the mountain.

Tang Monk touched his bald head and quickly descended the mountain.

"Disciple, Master has come down. Why haven't you come out?"

Tang Monk asked.

Sun Wukong grinned, excitement overflowing on his monkey face, and there was also some inexplicable sentiment towards Tang Monk.

"Master, move away quickly! I'm coming out. Don't get hurt!"

"!!!"

Hurt me?

Tang Monk felt that this monkey was a bit off.

Just climb out; why would I get hurt? With my steel-like muscles, do you think they are just for decoration?

But it was, after all, Sun Wukong’s good intentions. He obediently moved away a bit, not wanting to hurt the monkey's feelings.

"A bit farther, a bit farther."

"Yes, yes, a bit farther. Hehehe, don't get hurt, Master."

"... " Tang Monk fell silent.

Once Tang Monk moved to a safe distance, Sun Wukong burst into wild laughter.

Laughter soared, arrogant and unrestrained, filled with extreme excitement and thrill. His laughter even trembled a bit, resonating through the heavens and earth.

"I'm finally free!"

"Free!"

"Free..."

Boom!

The resounding sound filled the space between heaven and earth. Dust flew, rocks shot out like arrows, creating deep and large craters on the ground, leaving the nearby area devastated.

The mountain cracked open, and from it jumped out a dirty, shaggy monkey. It soared into the sky, somersaulting freely under the blue sky, letting out a deafening mad laughter that shook the entire world.

Tang Monk stared dumbfoundedly at Sun Wukong, who was having a blast in the sky. His face was marked with shock written in large letters.

He was completely unaware of the stones continually striking his body, completely indifferent to the dust contaminating his face. His eyes were filled with disbelief, focused only on that magical monkey under the blue sky...

This monkey, this scene, is it real?

Could a creature really be this powerful?

Uh, this is a monkey...

It turned out that everything the monkey said was true, really for the sake of not hurting himself?

My proud strength, my favorite muscles, can they achieve all of this?

Tang Monk started to doubt life.

At this moment, a golden light suddenly approached rapidly from afar and arrived in an instant.

A grand Dharma sound echoed in the void, and a white-robed goddess, with a halo of merit on her head and stepping on a golden lotus, manifested herself.

It was none other than Guanyin, the Bodhisattva of Great Compassion from the South Sea.

Seeing Tang Monk, a slight twitch appeared in Guanyin's eyes.

She forced herself not to look at that dazzling bald head and calmed her emotions.

With a slight smile, she said, "Monkey, come down!"

Hearing this voice, Sun Wukong in the sky hurriedly stopped, no longer emitting the neurotic laughter.

He hurriedly descended and ran to Guanyin, bowing respectfully.

"Hey, Bodhisattva, you're here. I just broke free, got a bit out of control. Hope you don't mind."

Tang Monk finally recovered from his astonishment and walked towards Guanyin.

"Bodhisattva, is this one of my three disciples?"

Guanyin smiled gently, nodding slightly. "Yes, you two will address each other as master and disciple, overcome hardships together and proceed to the West to fetch the scriptures."

Turning quickly, she didn't want to say much to Tang Monk. Instead, she looked at Sun Wukong and continued, "Wukong, from now on, Tang Tripitaka will be your master. You will wholeheartedly protect him, never let him fall into the hands of demons. It's also for the sake of the past..."

Before Guanyin finished speaking, a white divine radiance suddenly flew out from Tang Monk. Swift and unstoppable, even though it didn't emit any powerful aura, Bodhisattva Guanyin didn't have a chance to intercept it, nor did she even react in time.

This divine radiance flew out and directly enveloped Sun Wukong, disappearing with the monkey in the blink of an eye.

"!"

Bodhisattva Guanyin's eyes contracted, only managing to remember the approximate direction where the divine radiance had taken Sun Wukong. She hadn't had time to do anything and, by the time she reacted, he had already disappeared without a trace.

Tang Monk was also momentarily bewildered, somewhat puzzled. However, thinking that this was Li You's arrangement, he quickly became resigned. Li You was always unpredictable, but he remained in control of everything.

I’m not happy, hmph!

While Tang Monk was lost in thought, the atmospheric pressure around suddenly tightened, locked in by a powerful aura. Looking up, he saw Guanyin squinting her bright eyes, focusing intently on him.

Tang Monk instantly broke into a cold sweat, feeling alternately bathed in moonlight and sunlight. The pressure suddenly surged, making it difficult for him to breathe.

"Hehehe... hehe, Bodhisattva, If I tell you that it has nothing to do with me, will you believe me?" Tang Monk felt a bit embarrassed, quite shy, sniff sniff!

A cold smile appeared at the corner of Guanyin's mouth.

Believe you? No way!

Even if it's related to you, I can't do anything to you. Say whatever you want!

She was well aware of who the prime suspect in this situation was, and inconveniently, he had a significant connection with Tang Monk.

"Hum!"

"Hum!"

Suddenly, two powerful auras emerged between the heavens and earth. On the other side, lotus flowers bloomed, and the radiance of Buddha's light and immortal charm emanated. Two figures materialized in the air.

One person was golden-purple in color, resembling a child with a five-knotted crown on his head. His right hand held a vajra, capable of cutting through all demons and severing all afflictions. In his left hand, he held a green lotus flower. On his head, there was a golden Sutra, symbolizing supreme wisdom. He sat on a lion with a majestic aura.

The other person looked honest and sincere, holding a jade ruyi scepter. Unaffected by external criticism, he followed the Bodhisattva path with a heart of endurance. He sat on a tall white elephant, symbolizing complete merit.

These two were the Bodhisattvas Bodhisattva Wisdom and Bodhisattva Virtue from Mahayana Buddhism in the Western Paradise.

After their arrival, standing in a triangular formation with Bodhisattva Guanyin, they gave an overwhelming and unyielding impression, exuding a mighty and boundless aura. The oppressive and majestic breath filled the space between heaven and earth.

Tang Monk was dumbfounded. Why did two more mighty Gods appear?!

"The monkey isn't under the Five-Finger Mountain?"
