Chapter 4: Might Guy and Obito's Potential

"Brother, how's the situation?"

"Not good. My despicable cousin threatened me. He said if I reveal his secret, he'll tell my neighbor Mei that I wet the bed when I was three!" Hagane Kotetsu bitterly condemned his cousin's misdeeds.

How could their affairs involve his neighbor little Mei and tarnish his glorious image? Truly despicable!

"I have a plan. Taking advantage of our young age, we can use playing as an excuse. Go to your cousin's house, mess up his room, and even though you'll be the one making the mess, if he doesn't clean up in time, he'll be the one in trouble. Do this a few times, and he won't dare to be arrogant anymore!"

Kamizuki Izumo thought for a moment and came up with a clever plan.

Hagane Kotetsu immediately lit up, expressing that with Izumo's strategic guidance, he could be invincible, much like the First Hokage with Tobirama's advice. If successful, he promised to treat Izumo to snacks.

Upon entering the classroom, Mutsuki overheard the conversation between the potential talents, and couldn't help but smile.

"Let's begin the class!" Mutsuki walked to the podium and started the lesson directly.

"Chakra is the basis for activating Ninjutsu, generated by the combination of physical and mental energy."

Most students in the audience were attentive, as this was a crucial foundation.

While explaining, Mutsuki occasionally demonstrated Chakra personally to let everyone feel it. Throughout the lecture, Mutsuki also tried to spice up the class with anecdotes and stories to prevent it from becoming dull, complemented by questions to deepen understanding.

As the four classes were about to conclude, nearing the end of the lesson, Mutsuki, observing Anko continually asking questions with a cheerful demeanor, decided to evaluate her.

[Name: Mitarashi Anko]

[Potential: A]

After some contemplation, Mutsuki decided to assess all the students in the classroom.

[Name: Hagane Kotetsu]

[Potential: B-]

[Name: Kamizuki Izumo]

[Potential: B-]

Mutsuki was amazed to discover that, excluding Shisui, only four students in the entire classroom had a potential rating of B or higher. Apart from Anko and the other two, there was one student he didn't have much impression of, also with a B- potential. The rest ranged from C, with some at C+ and others at C-, and even a few at D.

Looking at it this way, Shisui's talent was incredibly strong, overshadowing everyone else.

Anko's potential also surprised Mutsuki a bit. He remembered that Anko wasn't particularly powerful in the original work, but the assessed potential was several levels higher than the two gatekeepers.

However, Mutsuki currently had no intention of taking Anko as a disciple. He couldn't take in disciples without limitation, as he only had four disciple slots available. One was already taken by Shisui, leaving only three.

Although Loli Anko was cute, she expressed that he was handsome, so what's the use? Would Danzo release him just because of that? Obviously not.

[End of the lecture, proceeding to the evaluation]

[Evaluation: A]

[Obtained Reward: Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu]

"This Ninjutsu is not bad, but unfortunately, it doesn't have a significant effect on me right now," Mutsuki thought to himself.

As the Ninjutsu used by the protagonist Naruto from start to finish, the Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu is undoubtedly a very practical technique. Whether in battle or training, it is highly useful if you have enough Chakra. Unfortunately, what Mutsuki lacks at the moment is Chakra, so there's nothing to be done about it.

After finishing lunch and entering the office, several sensei were strategizing for Chitani Isamu, who was about to go on a blind date.

A tall and slim male sensei reminded, "Before meeting, make sure to tidy up properly, dress formally, don't let people think you're a sloppy person."

"Sugito, you're underestimating me. Although I haven't had any romantic experiences, this is common sense, right?" Chitani Isamu confidently replied.

"I think what you need to pay the most attention to is not talking big during the conversation," Ueda Aya, as if foreseeing the final outcome, shook her head and said.

"Ueda, just wait and see," Chitani Isamu, feeling underestimated by Ueda Aya, immediately issued a stern warning.

"Sure, I'll be watching," Ueda Aya responded casually. After noticing Mutsuki entering, she immediately struck up a conversation with him.

"Yumi sensei, you're amazing. When I passed by your class today and took a glance, the atmosphere seemed great. Hard to believe it's your first time as a sensei."

Mutsuki shook his head modestly, "Oh, no, it's all thanks to your valuable tips and the obedient students."

Although she knew it was a humble remark, who doesn't like to be praised? Ueda Aya smiled, then shared some of her snacks with Mutsuki.

Observing this, Chitani Isamu instantly felt the disparity in treatment. Despite being colleagues with Ueda Aya for two years, he had rarely enjoyed her snacks.

Internally grumbling about Ueda Aya, Chitani Isamu quickly greeted Mutsuki. If this blind date succeeded, he would remember Mutsuki's favor of covering his class for a lifetime!

Mutsuki responded with a cheerful smile to everyone and, after a brief chat, picked up a prepared brush and ink to practice calligraphy.

Practicing calligraphy during free time was one of the few good habits he had from his previous life, developed during his university calligraphy classes.

The lunch break at the ninja school was relatively short, and there was no time to find a place for training.

When he felt it was almost time for the next class, Mutsuki tidied up and headed to the classroom to prepare for the lesson.

Ding Ling Ling~

As the bell rang, Mutsuki happened to enter the classroom of Class 2 of the fourth year.

"Hey, isn't Chitani-sensei teaching Konoha history this afternoon?" a student questioned upon seeing Mutsuki instead of Chitani Isamu.

"Chitani-sensei has something to attend to this afternoon, so I'll be taking the class today," Mutsuki explained as he walked to the podium.

Just as Mutsuki finished speaking, a hurried figure rushed into the classroom.

"Hehe, sorry, sensei. I encountered an old lady on the way and helped her out, so that's why I'm late," Obito explained, hands on his knees, catching his breath.

"Take a seat and let's start the lesson," Mutsuki nodded and then glanced at the students, evaluating each of them.

[Name: Nohara Rin]

[Chakra: 300]

[Potential: B+]

[Name: Might Guy]

[Chakra: 600]

[Potential: S]

[Evaluation: Suitable for practicing Taijutsu, recommended for apprenticeship]

[Name: Uchiha Obito]

[Chakra: 650]

[Potential: S]

[Evaluation: Six Paths Bloodline, spatial-temporal talents, recommended for apprenticeship]

Class 2 of the fourth year was similar to his own first-year class. Apart from these three familiar faces, only Uchiha Tekka had an A-level potential, while others were mostly at C or D levels.

After assessing their talents, Mutsuki inquired about their progress and then began the lesson.

For students accustomed to the traditional style of lecturing sensei, Mutsuki's teaching style came as a pleasant surprise.

Obito even exclaimed, "Mutsuki-sensei, you explain things so well, much better than the other sensei. If you teach us in the future, I'm sure I'll pass for sure."

"I'll inform Chitani-sensei, along with the fact that you were late," Mutsuki said with a cheerful smile. Unlike other sensei at the Academy, Mutsuki had systematically learned how to be a sensei.

Obito instantly wore a pained expression and quickly begged for mercy, knowing that Chitani Isamu was their homeroom teacher.

Obito's antics added a touch of joy to the class.

During the long break, Mutsuki activated Sensory Ninjutsu, confirmed that everything was fine, and then called Might Guy and Obito outside.
