Countdown Begins, Three Months

The next morning Emmy woke up, took his bathe as usual and continued his daily basis for the day. Today is Sunday so he's not going to school, before doing his daily quest and training he took one refreshing snack, it's cool to live like one of those rich kids.

He had a few important things to do today, he needs to get a personal football for himself, one of the main reasons he attacked the boy yesterday and will still do the same for others to learn their lesson. After getting a personal football, he'll start learning and perfecting the combined skill of Shadow Move and Tiger Strike.

But before all of that, Emmy wanted to train as hard as he could before it's dusk especially with weapons, because his target tonight is way stronger and a fierce fighter than the idiot he fought yesterday. So, he had to prepare himself for any possible outcome.

Emmy trained aggressively till evening, slowly, he's mastering the moves of the adults in the video he captured in the training room. Some of those moves are the advanced of the basic moves the kids practiced, but many of them are different moves entirely.

So Emmy had to spend enough time to perfect each move and learn to use it well in a battle. He also tried to learn how to fight with the video analysis but he keeps failing.

He can't just split his concentration, seeing an illusionary fighting style through someone else's eyes and fighting a real opponent at the same time is nearly impossible and dangerous. If he had someone to practice with, it would have been a little different, but he has no one and he can't just say he wanted to try it while fighting one of those boys.

It will definitely lead to his death.

Instead of learning how to fight with the video, he focused on how to perfect and use the moves he learned from each video in a real battle.

The one saving grace he had was that, while using video analysis to learn or practice the moves of those he borrowed sight from, he can also use different moves while seeing through their eyes. Point is, he can decide not to use the moves or skill the person is using, he can use another skill entirely and still see from the person's eyes.

Let's take Raze for example, while the young Elite was fighting the scary man, Emmy can decide to use the basic of the Muay Baron battle style he learnt from those kids while seeing through the young Elite's eyes.

Which means, he can use different battle style while seeing through someone else's eyes and fighting the person's opponent. This gave him a real battle sense.

It felt like a game to him, a Virtual Reality game.

He tried to use the Mauy Baron battle style to fight the scary man while seeing through Raze's eyes, but he always failed. Get crushed in a matter of seconds.

He also needs a lot of concentration to fight through someone else's sight while using different skills and moves from the person. So he used the video of a spar between two of the kids in the training room, that was a bit easier for him and with that, he managed to perfect some of the moves he had learned, using different sights.

He ended his training in the evening after his body started feeling heavy. He rests for a few minutes to catch his breath before going out to get a football for himself.

The All school tournament is just two months and a few weeks away from now, three months the most, although he knew he might not be able to participate in the tournament but at least, he had to prove himself worthy of going with them, even if his work is just to stay at the back of the goalpost picking ball for them.

But that wasn't Emmy's plan at all, really, all he wanted to do is to enter the tournament with them and gather as much skills as he could while at the tournament. Countless teenagers will come to showcase their talent both in combat and sport. And where's the best place to gather so many skills than a place where all profession tournament is taking place.

"What if I gather countless skills but unable learn them like I'm having problem with learning Martial art by myself. I think I'll need to find a suitable football club to attend to learn a few basics. I'm having enough problem learning martial art by myself, I won't want the same with football."

Going to a football club will help him a lot, not only would he have access to everyday training or three times in a week training, different from the once in a week training they did in school. He would also be taught the basics of football, do countless test to be put in a suitable class, he would also be going to different competitions even though he might be placed on bench every time.

"I think going to a football club is a nice thought, but damn, how can I get money to sponsor myself and do other things, I can't depend on the system claimed of receiving coins for completing some quests, I haven't even been given a quest like that."

"I guess I really need to find a part time job first, that might solve a few problems of mine."

With that in his mind, Emmy left the building going to a convenience store to get a football.

Now, there are two things he really needs to do, first is to find a part job in order to make some money and help himself. Money is the root of power after all - and the root of all evil at the same time. Getting a paying job will solve a lot of things for him and he can also rent an apart if he works hard for some months.

[New Quest Received]

[Get a paying job and a suitable football club to attend within three months]

[Reward:???]

[Punishment:???]

'Well, that's surprising.'

The system read his thought and gave him a new quest, Emmy knew he couldn't fail as the system has made it a quest for him.

So, Emmy's priority now is to get a job before looking for a football club to join.

Joining a football club will also help him improve before the school tournament, hopefully, he would be able to participate in the tournament.

He only had three months to prepare.

'Three months, fuck – why do I feel like the three months would be hell?'

Getting to the convenience store, something unexpected happened that led Emmy into a trouble that he survived by a breath of air.

He got the ball finished and was about to walk out of the store before bumping into an old friend – or is he an old enemy? Emmy bumped into Caleb, a boy from his third year in junior school, the first and last person Emmy ever fought in school and had driven his confidence away.

The young boy Emmy injured with the tip of his pen during his third year in Junior school, and thus led him to the cops' custody. The same event is also what drove away his confidence.

Emmy bumped into the boy with his two friends coming into the convenient store as he was about to get out.

At first, Emmy didn't look at his face and just passed by his side which the boy did the same not paying him any attention, but then, as Emmy got outside the mechanical door he turned back, a confused look on his face. His gaze met the boy' who had also turned back looking at him with the same expression on his face.

By the time Emmy realized who it was, the boy was already on the move with his friends coming at him, it seems as he had realized earlier than Emmy. Wasting no time, Emmy zoomed away, running as fast as he could.

'Damn, about to get my day ruined.'
