Humans' Limits 0387- The day it rained fire

It was as if the sound barrier did not exist for them. The thin layer of shield on the spacecrafts moved to plow the air, forcefully shaking it out of the way with its vibrations.

The air screamed, but at the moment the different satellites belonging to the different targeted countries, especially the superpowers, could fully react, a blinding light exploded in outer space. It exploded, not once, not twice, but at least ten times, and above different parts of the globe.

For the militaries around the globe, it was as if the world went dark. They lost their eyes, and they became blind in a moment when New City was in chaos, and looked to be baring its fangs.

To say that no one of those old people at the top of the world got a heart attack would be a lie. But most of them had been hardened by authority, and strengthened by arrogance. Still, today their superiority was about to mean nothing, and whether they knew it or not, they could only show grim faces.
