"Then she has to be somewhere in the building," answered Lucien. "If she went in and never came out, then she still has to be somewhere there. Could she be trapped and not able to get out on her own?"

 

Caleb shook his head, letting out a long sigh. It was actually killing him to not be touching his mate right now. He might not have bonded with her like Raphael had, but the second he found her, he was biting her.

 

There was no way he would survive losing her again.

 

"No," he grunted. Closing his eyes, he ran through every possible situation again and again, as if he hadn't been doing just that since Damien had received the call telling them that something had happened to Addy. "She could never be stuck inside of that building."

 

Brielle looked over at Caleb. "Then I think you and I need to have another conversation with that owl."
