Chapter 44: Malcom For A Minute

"Go on, speak, use your lips." He purses his lips, and presses my cheeks together, so my lips move.

I chuckle and push his hand away.

"You..." I say, but I stop.

"It's okay, you don't have to be afraid around me." He says, more tame this time, as he turns to his drink. "Has, has alpha, hurt you?" He says, sincerity in his tone.

I stare at the glass of orange juice as it slides over to me.

Stopping perfectly into my hands.

"No." I say, speaking the truth. Which, I find strange.

Had Darius really never hurt me before?

I think back, and then, I feel a since in between my legs.

Which, I somehow, smile at.

"That's good. I can see he's listening to his good friend Malcolm." He says, then gulps down the drink in his glass in one go.

I follow along, except I only sip my orange juice.

"How has it been though? Hard?" He asks again, all manner of a joke dismissive of him.
