Chapter 116: Third And SECOND Course

How could I have messed up?

I can't let myself fail to such a degree.

With great determination, I stretch out my hands, reaching out for any rock I can grab.

I grab onto several, but each time, I am pulled down by gravity, which leaves my hands with deep cuts.

But I don't give up, when I reach the next rock and grip with with all my might.

It would seem I've stopped descending, that fact made evident when I slam hard into the wall of rocks.

My senses shift to the back of my head...Darius.

No, focus.

I raise my gaze high, analyzing how far I've fallen, and by some miracle, I find the remaining height to be only a meter or two.

I had thought I descended a lot further down.

Though I didn't fall onto the wooden platform, so I guess that should have been a good enough indicator that I didn't go too far.
