"It's obvious you've suffered from heat stroke." Darius says and I smile.
"You're the only logical option here, last I checked, you're the only wolf here with a humanoid wolf, plus your enormous." Malcom gesticulates his words by widening his arms, emphasizing Darius' size.
This time, I can't hold back, so I chuckle.
"I have a humanoid wolf because I'm Alpha and not a cow, carry the cargo by yourself if you want to." With that, Darius has made a stance, he calls in the human crew to pack only the essentials and leave the rest behind.
"Oh come on, Alpha, please do this for me. You don't know what it's like to sleep out here on the floor, with mosquitoes and…no comfort of a woman." I roll my eyes at the last statement.
"That's not my concern." Darius says.
Malcom continues to plead and even strike bargains with Darius, but fails again and again to achieve his goal.
I suppress a laugh this time, as I just realize how much I missed Malcom.
