"A first time huh?" Darius' voice echoes into my ears.

"You have two months to make me fall for you. But if you fail, I'll kill your best friend Rosemary, her mate, and every member of your pack."

But...not today, I want to be with Darius today.

I smile and make my way into the car, so Darius follows behind and shuts the door beside me.

I don't give him the chance to settle in before I skitter over to his side and lean on his arm.

"No, stay there, I'm comfortable this way." I say with a smile, feeling a little too happy today to let Darius be.

He chuckles too, then he does nothing more, which eats into my conscious.

"Well this is no fun." I say with a frown and I create sum space between us just when the car begins to move, which causes me to almost fall over had Darius not held me in place.

After I've gotten my balance, I push his arm away and I lean on my side of the car.

"Why are you upset?" He asks, genuine confusion in his tone.
