Chapter 4: The Goblin King, Part 2

"I'm not going to die without a fight!"

I said those words, and now I'm facing the Goblin King all by myself. With its huge fangs and its dark red eyes, it's intimidating me.

Unlike earlier, I'm not feeling any fear anymore. With a ragged body and fatigue all over it. I stand head-on, staring at the monster in front of my eyes.

I'm not backing down.

I clenched my fist until a fire came out of it. I quickly moved my feet, striking a blow at the goblin king. It made a satisfying sound, and I thought it worked pretty well.

But the Goblin King is unaffected; taking my blow, he swung his wooden club.

I immediately jumped, dodging the attack. Once I landed, the goblin king swifted to my sights and landed another blow.

Bracing myself, I took the impact with my arms. Copying Jyour's technique from earlier, I'm using my capabilities as a tank to withstand the damage.

"Attack!" I yelled, and the two dragons Ella and I summoned attacked on another synchronous wave.

The Pheonix Dragon didn't disappear, even if its summoner died. My Black Lightning Dragon is also alive and well.

Goblin King took the attack directly. I jumped back and prepared for my next move.

The goblin king roared in pain from the attacks and swung his wooden club at the two dragons. Smashing their heads, resulting in their deaths.

Meanwhile, I'm ready to attack, pointing my hands at the goblin king. I launched the blow.

[Fire Magic: Magnificent Seven Lava]

Seven arrows of lava came out of my hands, hitting the goblin king's body directly. It melted the legs and arms of the goblin king. Making it unable to move.

I slowly walked into the goblin king.

"Any last words?" I asked.

The goblin king is trying his best to speak. It's throat took some damage from my attack. As it says its words, I realize I've made a mistake.

"Heal," the goblin king muttered.

My feet moved on their own, backing away from it.

The goblin king healed all of its wounds back to their original state. It groaned from pain and let out a loud laugh.

"AMAZING! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! YOU CAN DO THE 5 CLASSES, RIGHT?! I'M THANKFUL! FINALLY, I FOUND A WORTHY OPPONENT!" The Goblin King said with a smile on his face.

I can't help but smile at his reactions, feeling honored that someone like me is worthy enough to fight him.

"I'm honored; thank you for making me stronger," I replied with a smile.

We exchanged a few words before we started the fight.

Both of us rushed in and traded blows one after another. The pain can't be felt, and all I feel is the excitement of the fight. Thinking about the next move I'll make is the only thing on my mind right now.

I used the skills my fallen comrades have used, switching from one class to another. Countering the Goblin King's attacks and his own.

Flashes of the attack are spreading to the field, making cracks on the floor and spreading fast random rocks.

We were both smiling and attacking at the same time. But this has to end.

The goblin king swung his wooden club at me. It directly hit me, but I protected myself with my arms. It sent me flying to the wall, but I landed perfectly.

"Let's finish this!"

I rushed straight to him with a giant flame sword in my hands. The goblin king filled his club with a dark aura. Our attacks collided, and both of us landed our blows.

Both of us are facing the opposite direction, waiting for the reaction of the other.

"Ugh!" I groaned from pain, and my legs fell to the ground. I'm touching my chest, feeling the damage of the blow.

I turned around, and I saw the goblin king standing. I hurriedly got back from my feet and pointed my blade at him, carefully observing his actions.

The goblin king is facing in the opposite direction. I can't see his face, but he's standing straight.

"Well done, young warrior. It's your win."

After he let out those words, its head slipped from its body. Falling to the ground, its body falling in the opposite direction of the head. Spilling blood all over the floor.

I sighed in relief, and my knees began to give up. I sat on the ground, staring at the body of the goblin king.

"I did it!" I let out.

I turned around quickly.

"Guys, we did it! We defeated the—"

Oh yeah, I forgot. I'm the only one alive. I looked at the bodies of my comrades, then looked at the ground. Tears began to fall on my eyes.

"I... I can... It's okay for me to cry, right?" I muttered those words as if asking someone for permission.

I expressed the sadness in my heart, blaming myself for being unable to save them. I turned my back when they died, filled with regret. I just let it all out. I didn't get to do anything at all! Surviving alone is painful! I'm sorry, everyone!

These thoughts wouldn't bring back my comrades, but please allow me to mourn their deaths.

I looked above and let it all out.

24 hours have passed, and Philip Panthor is walking back and forth. An error has been made.

Two groups of the adventurers haven't gone back yet. They sent professional groups to their assigned areas, but they're nowhere to be found.

The first group is group 14; it's the group Klay Panthor.

The second group is group 21, the group of Karma Cloud.

Like Klay Panthor, an error has been made, and those two groups haven't returned yet.

But after 24 hours, a portal appeared. The one who came out of it was Klay Panthor, carrying the bodies of his dead comrades. Except for Ella, whose body has been turned to ashes. Klay's face and body are all covered with blood. The emotions he has right now are frightening; it's the look of someone who experienced death itself.

Philip Panthor immediately hugs his son. Philip Panthor and his wife have been worried about the well-being of their children.

"Klay! Are you okay, Klay?! What's this blood?! What happened?!" Philip couldn't contain his worries.

"Sorry, Dad, it's all my fault," the boy, Klay Panthor, said.

Philip Panthor gave him a hug, saying that it's not his fault.

The crowd made another noise as another portal came out. This time, the one who came out of it is Karma Cloud, like Klay. He's also covered in blood.

"Yo, Klay. Thank God you're alive," he said.

"Same to you," Klay Panthor replied.

Thus, the class gifting ceremony comes to a close.

Demon's side

Klay Demonic is staring at the dark sky, sitting on a cliff in a red field. The atmosphere can be called hell. The bodies of fallen monsters are all over the place.

Chloe Vampir amproached him. "Heya, Klay. Thought day today, huh?" she said with a cheerful tone.

"No, it's not enough. This is not enough," Klay Demonic replied.

Clenching his fist and looking unsatisfied, he looks at his level.

Klay Demonic [Level 148]

Raising his hands above and slowly clenching them, he declared these words.

"I need more power."
