2 August 1989 (Charing Cross Road, London, England, Great Britain)

Albus Dumbledore and Agustus Peverell walked into a bar that was hidden from the eyes of the muggles.

The bar was called the Leaky Cauldron, and it was a popular spot for witches and wizards to enjoy a drink and a chat. As the two newcomers entered, the patrons turned their heads to see who they were.

A wave of excitement swept through the crowd when they recognized Albus Dumbledore, the strongest white wizard in the world, and the second coming of Merlin himself. He was wearing his usual purple robes and a pointed hat, and his long silver beard was tucked into his belt. He had a twinkle in his blue eyes and a smile on his face.

Agustus Peverell, on the other hand, was a handsome boy of eleven, with aristocratic blonde hair and blue eyes.

He wore a simple black shirt and carried a leather bag. He looked calm and confident, but also curious and eager. He was invisible to the witches and wizards before, but now they all stared at him with interest and wonder.

'Who would pay attention to a random boy when Dumbledore is in the house?' Agustus thought to himself. He greeted the crowd with a polite nod and said, "Hello, sirs and madams."

Some of the wizards were impressed by the boy's composure and manners. They wondered who he was and why he was with Dumbledore.

Dumbledore cleared his throat and addressed the owner of the bar, Tom, who was a bald and toothless man. "Good to see you, Tom. I need to use the gate to Diagon Alley to get some first year supplies for young Agustus here."

Hearing this, everyone in the bar realized that the boy was a new student at Hogwarts, the school of witchcraft and wizardry. They murmured among themselves, speculating about his background and his potential.

Dumbledore smiled and led Agustus to the back of the bar, where a brick wall separated the muggle world from the magical one. He said to Augustus, "Look carefully, Agustus. You will have to come by yourself next year."

'I know how to enter, old man. I wouldn't have waited for you if I had a wand. Or I could have just used my Power of Destruction to make my way in.' Augustus thought sarcastically.

As he watched, the wall magically folded into nothingness, revealing a narrow street full of shops and people. It was Diagon Alley, the heart of the wizarding world in Britain.

Agustus's eyes widened in genuine amazement. He had never seen anything like it before. Diagon Alley was truly a sight to see.

Inside the alley, there was an assortment of restaurants, shops, and other attractions. Some of them even had tables out front with coloured umbrellas. There were signs advertising all kinds of magical goods and services, such as broomsticks, cauldrons, books, robes, potions, pets, and more. There were also street performers, such as jugglers, musicians, and magicians. The air was filled with the sounds of laughter, chatter, and magic.

Seeing his reaction, Dumbledore chuckled and said, "Let's go, Agustus. We have a lot to do today."

They went to Gringotts, the wizarding bank, where Agustus exchanged some muggle money for a hundred galleons, the gold coins used by the wizards. He put them in a small pouch and tied it to his belt.

'I thought Dumbledore would tell me about how I may be an heir of an ancient noble house, or goblin might hearing Surname 'Peverell' but they didn't. I will have to come back here to do an inheritance test. I don't trust this old goat, and goblins one bit' Agustus thought.

Dumbledore turned to Augustus and said, "We've got everything now. We just need a wand."

Agustus nodded in agreement. He was looking forward to getting his first wand, the most essential tool for a wizard. He wondered what kind of wand would suit him best.

They made their way to Ollivander's, the wand shop, where a sign read: "Ollivander: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C." As they entered, a bell chimed, alerting the shopkeeper of their arrival.

An old man, with pale skin, silvery hair, and bright eyes, was busy sorting wands in the shop. He was Garrick Ollivander, the master wandmaker and a descendant of the original Ollivander.

'Wasn't he supposed to jump scare us or something?' Agustus thought. He had heard that Ollivander was a very eccentric and knowledgeable man, who could remember every wand he ever sold.

"Welcome to Ollivander's, long time no see, Albus. Ten inches, ebony wood, phoenix feather core." Ollivander said, without looking up. He was referring to Dumbledore's wand, which he had sold to him many years ago.

"Correct, Garrick. I've brought young Agustus here to get his wand." Dumbledore said, introducing the boy.

Hearing him, Ollivander finally looked at Agustus and smiled. He said, "Of course, young man. The wand chooses the wizard, you know."

Agustus nodded. He had read about that in the HP books.

Ollivander proceeded to ask Agustus some questions about his hand preference, his measurements, and his personality. He then gave him a wand to try, and told him to wave it.

Nothing happened.

Ollivander took the wand back and gave him another one. He repeated this process several times, but none of the wands seemed to work for Agustus. They either did nothing, or produced sparks, or exploded.

Ollivander frowned and muttered to himself. He searched his shelves for more wands, but none of them seemed right for Agustus.

Finally, he took out a twelve-inch, slick black wand, with a few runic golden lines giving it a noble appearance. He said, "This is the last hope. If you still don't get a match, you will have to get a customised wand." He handed the wand to Agustus.

As soon as Agustus touched the wand, he felt a warm feeling spread through his chest. He felt a connection with the wand, as if it was an extension of his arm. He felt a surge of power coursing through him.

Dumbledore and Ollivander felt a sudden chill, as if they were about to die. They sensed a dark and destructive force emanating from the boy and the wand.

Agustus's Power of Destruction was activated by the wand, and it enveloped him in a black aura. He felt a rush of adrenaline and excitement, as he felt his POD becoming stronger and more refined.

'So this wand can act as a focus for both my magic and POD' thought Agustus

Dumbledore and Ollivander were shocked and terrified to see this power. They had never seen anything like it before. They wondered what it was and where it came from.

Agustus quickly realized what was happening, and he cut back his POD. He didn't want to reveal his secret to anyone, especially not to Dumbledore. He pretended to be confused and scared, and said, "What was that? What happened?"

Dumbledore hurriedly asked Augustus, "Are you alright, my boy? What was that light that surrounded you?"

Seeing Dumbledore's questioning, he quickly denied, "I don't know, professor. I just touched the wand." He gave a questioning look to Ollivander, hoping that he would play along.

Ollivander, seeing this, decided to keep quiet about the boy's power. He was intrigued by it, and he wanted to study it more. He said, "Interesting. Very interesting. You will become a powerful wizard one day, young man."

Agustus, with curiosity, asked, "What is this wand made of?"

Ollivander answered, "Elder wood, ancient dragon heartstring core. The dragon's name was Kamish, the most fearsome and powerful dragon that ever lived. This wand was made by my grandfather, who was the only one who could buy Kamish's remains and get a piece of his heart. This wand is one of a kind, and it has a mind of its own. It will only bond with a worthy master, who can handle its power and its will."

This shocked both Dumbledore and Agustus.

Dumbledore had heard of Kamish, the dragon who had terrorized the world for centuries, until he was finally killed by a group of brave wizards and witches. He also had the elder wand, the most powerful wand in existence, which was also made of elder wood. Dumbledore wondered if there was a connection between the two wands, and what it meant for Augustus or It was because he was a Peverell? Many questions were raised in Dumbledore's mind after that scene.

(A/N- Kamish is my fav dragon)

Agustus had spent a total of 13 galleons on his new wand, a wand cleaning kit, and a wand hostler.

After his shopping spree, he still had 30 galleons left in his pocket.

He accepted the train ticket from Dumbledore, who had accompanied him to Diagon Alley.

He smiled and waved goodbye ( He didn't wanted to he was tired af but had to put a good child act in front of Dumbledore) to the old wizard as he walked through the orphanage gate. He was eager to board the Hogwarts Express and start his magical journey.
