Facing a One-horned Tiger (1)

Still unsure what the owner of those eyes had wanted with him, Arias became more cautious after the incident.

Suddenly, Arias started to hear the sound of some creature that was not so far away from him. Judging from the sound of its footsteps, the thing that was somewhere ahead of him must be three times Arias’ weight. If it was not a wild creature like a boar or a bull, then it must be some kind of huge beast.

Arias could hear the creature slowly approaching him. The sound of its footsteps slowly grew quieter, as if the creature was trying to conceal its movement so as not to alert him. The sound of its footsteps on the leaf-covered ground grew fainter and fainter the closer it got to him. It seemed like Arias was not the only one who could sense his opponent. This creature seemed to have sensed his presence as well.
