It didn’t take long for Arias and Olivia to exterminate the beasts on the sixth floor. Though, to be honest, it was mostly Olivia’s work and effort. Aside from that dark wolf, there were only three other beasts that were killed by Arias. The rest of them were taken care of by the half-faerie girl.

“Arias, is something wrong?”

Olivia asked when she noticed that Arias had been staring at the beastcore that he was holding in his hand for a while.

“Olivia, remember that time when I went berserk during the battle? Back then, were you afraid of me?”

Arias asked, his eyes still trained on the beastcore in his hand. It was so tempting like it was asking him to absorb its power. And the lightning in Arias’ core of magic was wailing like it wanted to tell him how it wanted more power. It was like a beast in an iron cage, unable to do anything except cry out in hunger as it eyed the delectable prey lying outside the cage.

“That time?”
