Chapter Forty-Eight

Killian POV

I slowly woke up. I rubbed my eyes and glanced up at Raiven. He was already watching me. I nuzzled into his chest. I suddenly felt the bed dip. I glanced over my shoulder and saw Aiden sitting on the edge of the bed. I looked down at his hands and saw he was holding my favorite cake.

I looked back up at Raiven. "I want Charly." I mumbled. I was slowly tensing up again.

Raiven stared at me for a second before his eyes glazed over. "He'll be here soon."

I nodded and pulled myself into Raiven more. I buried my face into his neck. I couldn't look at Aiden yet.

Soon a knock came at the door. I felt Aiden stood up and went to answer it.

"I'm here Killian." Charly's voice came once the door opened.

I looked up at Raiven and kissed him on his cheek. I jumped out of bed and ran into Charly's arms. Once I reached him he picked me up. I wrapped my arms around his neck and legs around his waist. I clung to him.

Charly rubbed my back. "There there. Everything will be ok." He whispered into my ear.

He looked over my shoulder. "I don't know what happened but it must have been something bad if he's like this. I'll take him for the day. You guys figure your shit out."

"Thanks Lil bro. He doesn't want to be around Aiden right now." I heard Raiven's voice.

My grip on Charly tightened. He glanced down at me and pulled me closer to him. "Aiden? What happened?"

Raiven sighed. "Aiden got mad at him and called him by his name. He wanted nothing to do with him since."

"Right." Charly's voice turned dark. Guess he's going to be holding it against him for a while. Charly has always been protective of me.

He turned around and walked out the door. He walked until he came to another door. He gently kicked the door since he didn't have hands to open the door. Once the door opened he walked in.

He tried to place me down on a bed but I wouldn't let go. I whined until he gave up and sat down against the wall with me in his lap.

"Sorry Henrie. He needed me." I heard him say.

Henrie? Like in my Beta?

"It's ok. I'm glad he asked for you. I knew how much you guys depended on each other. Even before he found his mates you guys were glued to the hip."

I recognize that voice. I slowly lifted my head and noticed my Beta. It's been a while since I saw him. I knew he went to school here but we all have been busy.

"Henrie. Sorry to barge in like this. Charly's one of the few people that make me relax and calm. I couldn't stay in our room anymore." I kept my head on Charly's chest.

Henrie walked over to us and sat down. He placed a hand on my back and started rubbing. "I know. Stay as long as you need."

I gave him a small smile. "Thanks." I closed my eyes and breathed in deeply. Charly's scent has always relaxed me. Charly played with my hair while Henrie rubbed my back. Soon I drifted to sleep again. I felt really relaxed.

The next time I woke up I was laying in Charly's arms with Henrie laying behind me. They weren't sleeping. They were just keeping an eye on me. I felt protected.

Charly looked down at me once he noticed I was awake. "Do you feel like going back?"

I tilted my head and thought about it. I shook my head. "Not yet."

Charly nodded. "Ok. Would you like to watch a movie?"

I nodded. I sat up so he could go pick one out. I fell back into Henrie. I glanced up at him. He raised an eyebrow like he was asking if it would be ok if he put his arms around me. I shrugged and shifted to get comfortable.

Henrie wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close. He started to hum. I relaxed more. Charly climbed back into bed and sat so close to us that our thighs touched. He put an arm across our shoulders and got comfortable.

The rest of the day we watched movies. Every so often Raiven would check in on me. I told him I was ok and was watching movies with Henrie and Charly.

'Hey Lil bit.' Raiven's voice came across the link. 'How you doing?'

'Better.' I answered him.

'Are you coming back soon? Aiden's going nuts.'

I looked down. 'Yeah. Guess I can't keep running away.'

Raiven laughed. 'Yeah. See you soon, Lil bit.' He then turned off the link.

Charly glanced down at me. "It's almost time?"

I nodded. "I'll go when the movie is over." I looked up at him. "Could you go with me?"

Charly looked over at Henrie. Henrie nodded. "Of course bro. Anything for you. You know that."

I threw my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. "Thanks Char."

Charly laughed. "Anytime bro."

After the movie I slowly stood up and turned towards Henrie and Charly. "I think it's time to go." I walked over to Henrie. "Thanks for everything Henrie. I'm glad you're my Beta."

Henrie smiled. "Anytime Killian. You may not be an alpha but you're my Alpha. You may be the Luna but you're my boss. The one I follow no matter what."

I pulled him into a hug. "I'm glad. I don't know what I'll do without you."

I withdrew and walked over to Charly. "Let's go. Time to face the music."

We walked out and went back to the dorm. I stood outside the door. It was a little hard to enter.

Charly placed his hand on my back. I looked up at him. He was already looking down at me. He nodded and pressed on my back a little.

I nodded and took a deep breath. I put my hand on the handle and turned it. I slowly pushed the door in.

When I walked in I looked around. Raiven was sitting on the couch typing on his laptop. Aiden was nowhere in sight.

"Raiven?" I whispered.

His head snapped up and turned towards me. He stood up and walked over to me. He pulled me into a hug. He buried his face in my neck.

"You're finally home." He whispered.

"Yes daddy. Where's Aiden?"

Raiven pulled away. "He had to go to training. He wanted to wait for you but he couldn't miss a day."

I nodded. "Right. When will he be back?"

"He will be…"

"Killian?" I heard behind me. I turned around and saw Aiden standing there. His eyes were wide.

He snapped out of his trance and ran up to me and pulled me into a hug. "I'm so sorry sweetheart. Please forgive me." He whimpered into my shoulder. I soon felt something wet.

"Aiden?"

He pulled away and looked down at me. He slowly went down on his knees. "I'm begging you baby. I'm sorry."

I glanced back at Raiven. He nodded. "He's been freaking out since it happened."

I tilted my head. "Was that what the cake was about?"

Raiven nodded. "He went to get it while you were crying. He came back when you were sleeping but you didn't want to have anything to do with him."

I glanced back at Aiden. I turned around and walked into the dorm. I went to the fridge and pulled the cake out. I sat down on the couch and began eating it.

"Sweetheart?" Aiden asked unsurely.

"hmm?" I didn't even look at him. I pretty much buried my face into the cake. I was hoping he would take the hint since I was eating the cake.

He cried out and then walked into the room and dropped to his knees right beside me. He put his head in my lap. I put my hand on his head and patted it.
