Finding Out About the Hero

I look down at my plans when I hear the door open. My right hand man, Everett walks in. He has on a black suit and tie. His dark brown is at his shoulder from not getting it cut and his green eyes are serious as he looks at me.

"You called for me, sir."

"Yes, I did. I have a photo of the hero's face, I need you to find the normal info, got it?"

"Yes, sir."

I give him the photo as he walks out. The photo was not the best. The hero, Frostburn, looked quite young but it's probably just me, it's not like the god's would have a kid try to stop me. After all, the youngest was 20 and he only lasted about a year. I don't even go that low, I might want to put everyone and everything in their place below me but kids are kids and should be allowed to have a childhood, unlike some of us.

I stand up from my set and head outside. I have been in all day, why not cause some mayhem? It's not like anyone can stop me.

From an alleyway I wrack as Frostburn tries to use his frost to stop the building that is falling. He seems to be struggling to keep it up but he knows what he is doing. After a little bit I walk out and walk towards him. The civilians try to warn him but I get to him and grab throwing him into one of the walls of the building he is trying to keep up. The building begins to fall as the civilians run away. They don't even try to help their hero. I let most of the building fall before I pulled him out and threw him into the alleyway I was in not long ago.

"Well, well, looks like this is your end. How unfortunate. I was hoping you would last longer, but I guess these last two years have been fun," I said as I walked towards him slowly. He tries to lift his head but fails. It doesn't seem like he can move much, which will make this easier, for both of us.

"What's next?"

"Well I will do what I did to the others. I will take your outfit and put your body where everyone can see you rot. Probably where you work." I was down to his level and lifted his chin up. He is just handing on.

"Sir!" It was my right hand man.

"Yes, Everett?" I stand up and turn to him with my arms crossed.

"The hero..."

"What about him?"

"He is a kid ... " when I heard that I emptily thought about what I had to do.

"I want my doctor taking care of him."

"What?"

"DO NOT MAKE ME REPEAT MYSELF! GET ME MY DOCTOR NOW!" I turn around to the hero.

"Why did they choose a kid? Did they want me to go to them because that is what they are getting,." I picked up the hero and started running to the base, luckily it's not far.

"It's going to be ok. I will make sure you are safe for now on," I see he has passed out. He is still breathing.

I am sitting at my desk with the hero's file in my hand, his name is Luckus Mallven, he is 12 years old, he is 176 cm, has brown hair, brown eyes, he goes to a nearby school, a straight A student, his dad was a hero, he only lasted a few weeks. Luckus lives with his mom and younger sister. Luckus is with my doctor, he has been asleep for almost two days. I look up at the clock and it is 2:00. I hear footsteps to my door. Everett opens my door and walks in a few steps.
