'Oh right, the dark dragon only respawned thanks to the help of that giant hand...' Seeing the giant hand floating quietly in the sky, the headmaster couldn't help but tense up again.
As for the young boy, Ivan merely glanced at the giant hand in the sky before doing a sweeping motion with his fingers in the air. "Open status."
Moments later, a rectangular holographic panel slid open before him.

"What the fuck? Why do I only have basic weapon mastery for staff? Why is my sword weapon mastery on a free trial? And where did my other weapon mastery skills go?!"
Looking at the status screen projected before him, Ivan couldn't help but curse out loudly.
"What happened to my [Dragon Slayer] title? And my [Earth's Strongest Defender] title? The stat boosts these titles gave me were massive, gosh dang it." Not only that, besides having lost his titles, most of the skills he acquired since long ago are now either missing from his Skill Book or are locked due to being too weak.
"Furthermore, why do I have 0 MP? Is there a bug in the system? How am I going to use magic spells then?"
"[Crippled], [Useless], [Society's Trash]....what are these titles?" Clicking on the [Crippled] title on the holographic screen, another smaller holographic screen with words popped up.
"Users with the [Crippled] title will inadvertently have their total stats reduced by 5% as long as the title is active. To deactivate the title, increase your reputation within the world by interacting with villagers or by doing quests."
"Quests? There are still quests I can do at my level? Impossible…I completed every single story quest as well as world quests and side quests after reaching lvl Max! This doesn't make any sense!" [Ivan]
As Ivan wracked his brain to figure out his situation with his faulty system, the giant hand in the sky recognized the type of system the young boy had.
The heavenly voice soon resounded in the young boy's head again.
'Human child, where did you get that system?'
"Huh? What does your stinky hand want?"
'Now now, no need to be rude. I'm merely asking out of curiosity.'
"You want to know where I got my system?"
'Indeed.'
"But you're the creator of the system."
'Yes.'
"Then, shouldn't you know where I got my system from?"
'The system you possess indeed was created by us. In fact, it was our greatest creation at that time to help you humans who were dying at an alarming rate. We called it–'
"The Adventurer System."
'Then I suppose you are an adventurer?'
"I was…an adventurer. But now I'm jobless."
'Hm? That's odd. We made sure that anyone who gets the [Jobless] class when awakening their system would be able to trade for a new class. Did a bug appear in your system?'
"That's what I was thinking about earlier! There's something wrong with my system! One moment, I was practicing my sword arts in the federation's VR Training Hall, and the next thing I knew, I arrived here with a buggy system!"

"I'm sorry but I'm a buddhist monk. I would rather live in the moment than think about reincarnation which is when I die. So yeah, I do not believe in reincarnation or rebirth."
'Hm, I see. Thank you for quelling this one's curiosity.'
"Well then, shall we get on to the main business?"
'And…what might that be?'
Closing his status bar before doing a few body stretches, Ivan finally replied the heavenly voice with a devious smile.
"Killing you, of course. Your manner of speech reminds me of one of my subordinates, a paladin that specializes in aura suppression and vitality. Every time he opens his mouth, my hand will somehow connect with his face."
'This…you do know I'm a higher being, right? '
"So what? I don't care whether you're God or the Devil, I'll kill you all the same. Now, let's get started, shall we?"
Upon hearing the arrogant words of Ivan, the heavenly voice stayed silent for a moment as if it was deep in thought.
Minutes later, it said, 'If your wish is to fight against me, very well. As a higher being, I'll give you 3 free attacks. If you can destroy my hand within these 3 attacks, I'll withdraw from the mortal plane immediately.'
'But if you are unable to do so, then you'll die without a grave.'
"Sounds fun, I get to fight a higher being and die. It's like a dream come true." Without thinking too much, Ivan immediately accepted the terms the higher being put out with a confident smile on his face.
