Welcome to Hong Kong!

Louis stepped out of the mansion's main door with his usual relaxed expression, inhaling the fresh morning air still laden with dew.

"Huff haahhhh.... It's a good day to execute my next plan!"

[Yes.]

His steps were steady and confident, reflected in his upright posture and firm strides. As a true noble in the world, he was accustomed to the fast-paced rhythm of life with many movements, and his great ambition drove him to keep moving forward. Or at least, that's how he felt.

To deceive Lily so she wouldn't worry about him, Louis came up with a reason that garnered enough sympathy from the girl.

He was instructed to visit his sick grandfather in Hong Kong, so his grandfather wanted Louis to come there to visit him. Since Lily still had a tight schedule for her studies, Louis suggested that she stay at the mansion.

Understanding the situation, Lily obediently agreed.

"Smart girl."

Then, Louis decided to take a plane to expedite his journey.

"How long does it take to get to Hong Kong, I wonder....?" he muttered while checking his phone to see his departure and arrival schedules. He knew that his time was precious, and every second spent wisely could make the difference between success and failure of this nonsense.

And then he headed to the airport using a taxi. After he arrived there, Louis immediately boarded the plane and slept soundly.

After all, he took the most expensive ticket with facilities that could be used for sleeping. So, let's relax!

After arriving in Hong Kong, Louis walked across the airport's courtyard, through the lush garden of tropical trees and beautiful ornamental plants. The warm and humid morning air of Hong Kong welcomed him warmly as he took deep breaths.

"Heee, the air here isn't as bad as in Beijing. At least, I can still breathe freely!" he exclaimed, lifting his head as high as possible.

[That's not strange; it seems that Beijing itself has significant air pollution problems compared to cities like Hong Kong, whose vastness cannot be compared.]

Walking for a moment, Louis found the waiting vehicle. A private driver was already waiting at the front door, a sleek black luxury car with its doors open. Louis gestured to the driver, indicating that he would be driving himself this time.

"Is it you again? If I'm not mistaken, you were the one who picked me up when I arrived in Beijing," Louis asked, trying to confirm something.

Grinning slightly at the question, the man responded, "Yes, you're right. I was the one who picked you up before. By the way, how's Lily doing there?" The man inquired a bit about Lily as he let Louis into the car.

Louis slid into the car, enjoying the luxurious leather scent of the comfortable seats. With agility, he pulled the door shut and felt the subtle vibrations of the vehicle ready to move.

"Hmmm....? You know Lily?" Louis became curious about it.

His eyes showed enthusiasm upon hearing that, then he replied, "Of course, I know her."

Driving the car slowly, he continued, "Besides, she's my niece. She's a bit clumsy but confident and caring. So, I hope you'll take good care of her there."

Louis muttered unconsciously, "Take good care of her, huh...." Louis muttered like that because he knew the meaning behind that sentence. It's as if the man already knew about something that he shouldn't have known.

But well, that's easily guessed.

"Sure, I'll take care of her well and wholeheartedly. I don't want to hurt her; she's a good and caring girl, I understand that. So, you can rest assured about Lily's condition; I promise you that," Louis replied casually.

Hearing that, the man sighed with relief. "Phew, thank goodness. Anyway, Lily is my family."

"Okay."

Finally, the atmosphere returned to silence, but this was a good thing. He felt the need for a little time alone, allowing him to reflect and prepare himself for the meeting with his grandfather.

Ten minutes passed. Now, the car was entering from the gate of the very large company complex, passing along the road lined with tall trees and the tranquil artificial lake. The morning sun began to illuminate the sky, casting a golden light that revealed the silhouette of Hong Kong's urban buildings in the distance.

[This is quite amazing compared to your father's area.]

"Un, if compared to Spain, this is too amazing."

He was used to the busy traffic of Hong Kong, but he was still a little curious about how such a small city could dominate world trade. Then, the driver, unnoticed by Louis, responded to his muttering.

"Well, this is Hong Kong, a city known as the Dragon of the World!"
