chapter 25

Aldin Randell

I was shocked at Darvin's words.

"Normally people can go for two hours a day at most. Your just the abnormal case. And by the way the most I can go is five hours how about you?" Darvin asked and I had not the heart to tell then that I had never graced any difficulties during accumulation and so I left and went to my room.

Whilst in my room I took that time to meditate and accumulate mana in my core since I hadn't in a long time. It the evening a guard knocked at my door, the principal had summoned me.

When I got to his office I found him at the balcony looking out at the academy. He looked at me when I got in.

"You sure made quite the entrance today." He said.

"I didn't mean to go over board." He said.

"well enough of that, from the hunt you just went on, you earned 100 gold coins. Excluding the core that we got from the magical bear type beast."

"What's a core?" I asked.

"Have a seat so that I can properly explain it to you." He said. "Magical beasts at a certain point form crystals in their bodies due to the high concentration of mana. These crystals can be used in forging weapons and armour or in alchemy." He said.

I was in awe at my luck. But I just had to ask. "Is there any difference between an armour forged with beasts crystals and one formed with just the beast's carcass."

"Yes, and a rather large one. Armour and weapons formed with beats crystals are able to be used for spell like attacks."

"What." I exclaimed shocked at the possibility of this.

"But they are only able to use attacks the beast was capable of." He said.

Despite this fact, this means that one could use elements they were originally unable to.

"And now I have to asked, what would you like to do with your beast crystal. It was not evaluated as part of your bonus beasts?" He asked.

From what he had just told me if it was to be forged into a weapon or an armour I would be able to use the fire attribute or add it to my bonus, the answer was quite simple.

"I would like them to be forged into gauntlets, I don't need hold that much."

"Good choice, but the forge master will cost 5 gold." He said.

"Just pay it. It'll be worth it."

"Since that's settled well move on to the next thing, today we can continue with body training." He said.

"About that, I would like to show you something." I said. I formed an ice pillar next to me and punched it with my bare hand, cracks appeared spreading throughout the entire structure until it broke down.

"You just keep on breaking common knowledge. This are now the effects of body training, it refines your entire body using mana. But because of that you will have to stop for a whole to allow your body to get used to its new stated or too much pressure and you'll be facing to much strain which may lead to severe internal injuries." He said with a serious tone. " Your dismissed, go get some rest you need it and I would like not to practise magic for now till Monday.

I walked out headed to the dinning hall I had one thought on mind. 'Whta do I do with all that free time."

Leon Corvus

I was shocked that Aldin had been able to get to that point that quick. Normally one would take at least a several lengths to get to that point but it had taken him less than a week.

"He probably was doing this and didn't know or using mana from the air is much more effective than I though." I thought to myself.

Aldin Randell

After dinner I was tempted to fo back to the dorm bit going there would tempt me to train and that was the thing I was trying to avoid. And so I went to the library hoping to distract myself. The library was huge and the was well. I was currently wearing my old uniform with the clock up since I didn't want anybody noticing me. I walked up the novel isle.

Growing in I would read the books in the family library but all the ever talked about was history if not magic. I had never been able to read anything frictional. Although this was an educational institution they had quite a large amount of fictional books.

Bela

On the trials I had barely survived. Despite having the precision on magic I lacked power. My mana core was very small and would only last me a few spells. When the lessons begun I was able to get the concepts quite easily but never had the mana for the job. And due to this I was looked down upon. At first only the noble would mess around with me since it seemed that that was their nature. I had tried complaining to the professors but when I did it jot worse and now I had nothing to do.

On Saturday evening I decided to got to the library since at least there I could avoid them but I had no idea how wrong I was. When I had gone to return a book to the shelf, two boys came behind me and grabbed my hands and pined me to the shelf.

"What..." I tried to say but I was gagged .

"Shut up. Because of what you told the teacher we got into a lot of trouble and now your going to pay for it." A voice said from my back. It was one of the nobles I had reported To the professors.

"leave it to me from here." Another voice, this time it seemed to be one of the senior students I had reported to the professor.
