Chapter 35

Several days prior back in Aden the Randell couple were having a normal breakfast as they usually would have.

"Did you find out the family?" Silvia asked.

"Yes, but it wasn't from the main house, it seems that they were just a bit impulsive and met there end for that." Lark said.

"Seems so." Silvia said. "Though I do have some tea, remember Bloom, I found out she's a professor at the academy. I think I should ring her up."

"But don't forget to leave out Aldin." Lark said. "And don't blow our cover too." Lark said and his tone seemed really serious.

Malcom Eddy.

I was shocked at the news I had gotten from Leon. If that ever got out, I'd Bury my head in the ground.

"I find this very hard to believe." I said.

"Then why don't you follow me and see it for yourself." Leon said.

As we headed to the said destination I could see bright flashes and what I saw shocked me.

Aldin Randell.

"Since you've both gotten a feel of bashing the particles together I'm going to need you to use that feeling but in a larger scale." She said.

I closed my eyes and remembered that feeling, I brought it out and applied it on the water in the air and before my own eyes I could see several sparks and next to me Darvin also had the same results.

'What if I use it as a stared wouldn't it form a bolt of lightning.' I thought excitedly to myself.

Concentrating I formed a path of water in which I intend for the lightning to follow then i started thinking back to the felling of the sparks and applying it on it I was able to form a bolt of lightning.

I was way to excited to notice the stares of the two next to me and prepared for another bolt but this time I could not accurately form a distinct path bit relied on the destination and a bolt came crushing to the ground and many more formed as I got used to it.

And suddenly I was interrupted by my master and came back to reality, all around me were burnt spots on the ground. All eyes were on me and I could feel a smile on my face.

"I got carried away again didn't I?" I asked sarcastically knowing full well the answer to which my master nodded out of curtesy. And that's when I noticed the man next to the principal, his jaw was on the ground. Out of shock or awe I could not tell

"Please excuse me ." I said quick to get out of the awkward situation.

I was beyond shock at the power that tiny kid had showed. Hopefully my son had not made the mistake of actually making an enemy of him or else I'd have to break ties with him for the sake of the family.

We left soon after for the class to continue and went back to his office.

"You have no need to worry, your son was wise enough to learn from his error and was easily graced by Aldin." Leon said.

"That's a relief." I said before letting out a loud sigh.

"But that's not all, you've got my support on nurturing that kid, i'll back him up since that's a small price to pay with so much to gain since I know Hestia Green is not going to back down." I said.

"What do you mean by that?" Leon said out of anger rather than curiosity.

"Seems you haven't heard. According to my ears, she seeks vengeance on the one who stained her daughter's name but Lastor has nothing to do with it." I said.

"Hmm, then I welcome it." Leon said this time more calm than id expect him to be

'There has to be more for him to be so confident about it." I thought to myself.

"Then I'll take my leave." I said and got up to leave.

'You won't be the only person to benefit from him. I have to win him over.' I thought to myself as I walked out.

Back at the arena, Aldin had come back and cheered on Darvin as he finally got to cast lightning.

"Practice for the rest of the day, you can go back to your place, any further communication will be done through the guards." Professor Bloom said as she too left.

The duo left for their mansion while professor Bloom headed back to her office.

After her trick she had been banned from teaching any of the specialisations and she had now finished her last lesson with Aldin since he had finally learnt all of advanced magic since it was only ice and lightning.

"A letter got in for you." A guard said to Penelope as she got into her office and handed it over, it was enclosed in a blue wrapping. She opened it and a smile appeared on her face.

It was from a mentor of hers. It had been ages since they had talked and now she had just gotten a letter from her.

After reading it she begun writing back all the while with a large grin on her face

Back at the mansion Leon Corvus had decided to pay a visit to his disciples

"You both seem to have gotten used to living here." He began.

"Yes we have." They both said in unison.

"As we agreed, Aldin you will be going for hunting tomorrow. Darvin would you like to join in, it's good for training since you can go all out. And don't worry, all you need to do is hunt a certain quota for the school and the rest will be evaluated and kept for by the academy until the day you leave the academy." Leon said.

Darvin sat for a few moments in silence, thinking thoroughly.

"I agree to the idea but I don't have any armour so it will be a huge risk to me."

"Don't worry I'll have that sorted out for you."
