I'm done trying to bring Slyvia back

A sneer formed on the corner of my lips when I heard his arrogant words. Seeing the smirk on that face, I wanted to slap it right off his face. Suddenly, he chuckled a low sound that almost sent chills down my body. "Why are you staring at me like that, Amara? Have you fallen in love with me?"

"Are you out of your mind?" I spat, my voice full of venom.

He smiled, that same annoying smile, "I was, maybe. But now, I'm thinking clearly." He leaned back against the wall as if he was chatting about the weather. "After everything that happened between us, we should have a nice, long talk. Don't you think so?"

"Trust me, you'll see things differently after you hear me out. Prepare to be surprised," he added, with a wink.

"I don't want to hear anything," I said, curling my lip in disgust. "No more of your garbage!"
