He leans over the bed and kisses Rain's cheek. "Hey, baby, are you okay?" Rain looks at him "Not really babe" Kai sits on the edge of the bed looking at her. "Baby talk to me what's wrong?" she sits up, "We as you said, Don't need to be a part of this but yet you want to trap them in one of the rooms!" Kai sighs "Baby, I know but think about it. If I wouldn't do that and they kept looking around the place, People would have come to us that would have put you in danger, which I don't want." She looks out the window near the bed. "Kai this isn't right, we need to let them go. Who cares what they do!" he sighs "Rain, if this person took them girls that means they crossed our lands to get to them. Those people are from the other lands, Hunter, Oliva, and Lucas are all from those lands." She stands up "So was I! You still stayed with me through it all!" Kai grabs her hand as she goes to walk out of the room. "Baby, I found you half dead in the woods on our lands." she growls "It doesn't matter Kai you still took me in and all of that. Now let me go, now." he lets her go and she storms outside and looks into the darkness. She sees someone walking through the woods, a tall man with horns and glowing red eyes. She clicks the doorbell, Kai stands up and grabs the gun out of the closet, and walks out the front door slowly closing it. "Who is that?" Rain asks, he puts his hand up. She stops talking as he looks through the scope "It's a man, a very tall man, with horns. He is covered in blood and limping, his eyes are glowing a bright red" Rain sits down on the porch hiding behind the flowers. Upstairs a loud bang is heard, the man turns and looks in the direction of the house and starts to walk towards it. Kai holds the gun up to the man, he puts his hands up as he slowly walks towards Kai. Rain looks up at Kai and he is still holding the gun at the man. Soon he realizes who it is, he lowers the gun. "Aaron?" he looks up at Kai "Kai?" Rain stands up and growls at Aaron "Rain, I'm not here to hurt you or Kai" She stands her ground. Kai puts his hand up and she stops, "Aaron what happened to you?" Aaron holds his leg "Remember Hunter?" Kai nods "What about him?" Aaron sighs "Well he has a kid named Lucas. He took my girls. He said he wanted me dead once. I was dead he said he would let the girls so. But as you can tell only one of us walked away alive." Kai starts to look off into the dark woods "So you killed, Hunter's kid Lucas?" Aaron nods. He looks over at Rain and can clearly see that she's upset by this information. "Rain, it was either going to be me or him." Rain keeps looking off into the darkness "Leave now..." Kai looks at her "Rain he will bleed to death. You don't have any power over if he stays or not." Rain turns and walks into the house and slams the door. "Kai, maybe it's best if I don't, that was her nephew." Kai sighs and nods "Maybe you are right, but at least go stay in our storage building. There is a bed and stuff in there. Along with a first-aid kit as well." Aaron nods "Thank you, Kai, for this" Aaron turns and walks into the building hidden in the darkness. Kai turns around to open the door and sees that Rain left blood on the door. "What the hell?..." he says as he opens the door holding the gun close in hand as he walks up the stairs "Rain?" he calls for her no answer "Baby? Are you all right?" Kai walks into their room and sees that Rain is holding her hand while tears run down her face. "Rain, baby what happened?" she looks up at him mad "Is he gone?" she says in a tone of voice Kai has never heard her talk in before. "Yes, he is gone, for now." Rain looks out the window while she sits on the bed holding her hand. "That was my nephew he killed! That was my brother's only child!" Kai sighs "Rain I understand that but-" she cuts him off "No, you don't understand, you won't ever understand! Aaron had it coming after what his dad and uncle did to me!" Kai stops right before sitting on the bed "His family did that to you?" Rain nods "It's why Hunter has been after the Lycan family for years. He killed Aaron's parents and now I bet he wants Aaron dead as well" Kai stands at the doorway thinking about everything she had just said. "Babe, are you okay?" Rain asks as she stands up and walks over to him. She looks at him in his eyes "Kai, it's best not to think about it. I shouldn't have said those things, I'm sorry." She says as she kisses his cheek and walks into the room where Jade and Rose are being held. Rose looks up at her and so does Jade "Why are you holding us in here?" Rose asks her Rain sighs "Are you Aaron's girlfriend?" Rose nods "Why are you asking?" "Come with me," Rain says as Jade stands up "She's not going anywhere with you!" Rain looks at him "Boy, this isn't about you. I already heard enough about you. Now stay in your lane or you can deal with Kai. Understand?" Jade nods as she walks out of the room and Rose follows. "So where are you taking me?" Rain opens the storage building door "You'll see" Aaron steps out of the darkness into the light still covered in blood limping. Rain walks out of the building, closes the door behind her and heads back into the house. Rose puts her hands over her mouth and runs to him hugging him "What happened to you!?" Aaron smiles "I'm okay baby, that's all that matters." She smiles weakly "They trapped us in a room in the house and wouldn't let me or Jade go." Aaron pulls back just a little "Are you okay though?" Rose nods "I'm just happy you are safe. What about Lucas?" She asks him as the smile on her face fades away with every word. Aaron looks around her to the door "Lucas is dead." Her eyes widen "Is he really... dead?" She asks him "Yes he is dead babe." "Hunter will be coming after you even more now." She looks down at the ground, and Aaron looks back outside again. "Rose, baby it's going to be just fine. When he does come for me or us, he will find that our blood doesn't come easy." She looks at the ground holding her arms around herself. Aaron looks at her "Rose, what is wrong?" "I'm just scared of what is going to happen to us, is all..." Aaron sighs "Baby, I'll keep you safe at all costs." She smiles weakly, he starts to think about what he really has done. In his mind, he is fighting everything in his mind to avoid causing more problems. Or even push everything he has away.
