Jessica Wilson shot her a sidelong glare, "Mind your own business."

Avery smiled wearily, feeling utterly drained and devoid of any energy to engage in further conversation with them.

"Just go, or you'll be late. Hurry up, I've already skipped it so many times, missing one more won't matter."

Jessica Wilson, holding back tears, said, "Then, this is where we part ways, take care!" She then dramatically pulled her sister away.

Avery watched them until they reached the dorm door, which closed with a "bang." 

Only then did she turn around, allowing her body to relax into sleep.
