Awakening from a Nightmare

"What's wrong?" The demon from her dream transformed back into Ethan Montgomery, but a younger version, seemingly still a high school student. 

His features were unripe, and his smile radiated like sunlight, instantly erasing any memory of the cold, ruthless Ethan Montgomery she knew.

"You..." She reached out to touch his face, disbelief etched on her features, but he continued to smile warmly, grabbing her outstretched hand gently and saying, "Let's go have a baby!"

As soon as those words left his mouth, darkness enveloped her. She felt weightless, then suddenly, Ethan Montgomery, who had turned back into a demon, pushed her into an abyss.

Screaming, she sat up, her heart pounding so hard she had to cover her pale, helpless face with her hands, burying it in her palms as her shoulders shook with sobs.
