Lucas Davis and Lily Davis

Ella Jackson and the other students had completed a lap and were passing by Jessica Wilson, envy unmistakable in Ella's eyes. With a look of longing and envy, she wished to rush over and embrace Jessica.

Jessica greeted her with a broad smile, her gentle gaze as soothing as the lake's surface when moonlight lingers at dawn.

A warm current flowed through Ella, her exaggerated expression softening with genuine emotion.

"Alright, go on and run. The others are catching up!" At Jessica's encouragement, Ella turned to see the rest of the students approaching. She had hoped to run faster than them so she could rest first, but now she hurried to join them.

"Ah! Then I'm off, take your time walking!" Ella Jackson called out as she sprinted ahead.

Watching her run, Jessica Wilson's mind was suddenly filled with images of Avery.
