"Mom, I'm so scared!" she clung to her mother, tears streaming down her face.

Her father also entered, his expression dark and grim. He was unaware of his daughter's encounter with Aiden Montgomery, still believing Ethan Montgomery to be the one who wronged her.

Such disgrace had never befallen the Green Group. He leaned heavily on his cane, his face turning nearly ink-blue with rage.

"Ethan Montgomery has gone too far!" He clenched his teeth, staring out the window of Natalie's room, his visage twisted in fury, eyes burning with barely concealed anger.

Natalie's mother sighed silently, incredulous at Ethan Montgomery's ingratitude.
