Ella saw the distress on Avery's face and felt uneasy herself. "Avery, don't worry, they're all doing better. Sarah Wilson underwent heart surgery and is recovering quickly. Jessica Wilson has recently woken up, though she's still bedridden, but Mr. Rex Shelton is by her side every day."

"Rex Shelton?" The image of his haughty and insurmountable demeanor flashed through Avery's mind, his facial muscles contorted to a degree that made it difficult for others to look at him directly. 

And his temper, Avery Miller vividly remembered how he wanted to smash her head during their first encounter, juvenile and arrogant. Her impression of him was not particularly favorable.

"And... Jessica Wilson?" Ella Jackson understood what she was trying to say. 

Initially, she also disliked someone like Rex Shelton, but after witnessing everything he did for Jessica Wilson in the hospital, her feelings began to change.
