Trouble Arises

"Not right, could something have happened to the young madam?" Eleanor Thompson suddenly halted, a sense of panic persisting in her heart.

Mr. Bennett also stopped, turning to look at Eleanor Thompson with concern, then glanced towards the young master's bedroom, "Are you sure the door was actually locked from the inside?"

Eleanor Thompson's heart skipped, "I didn't pay much attention just now, but it seemed like it was indeed locked."

Feeling her legs weaken, Mr. Bennett put down his shears and strode upstairs.

"The door is indeed locked from the inside. Try knocking again, see if the young madam is asleep and didn't answer."

"How could she be asleep? I knocked so loudly and called out for so long. I think you should just break the door down. What if something really has happened to the young madam?"

Mr. Bennett, convinced, repeatedly rammed against the door with his strong yet aged arms.
