Ethan Montgomery let out a cold chuckle, never once acknowledging the man before him. Avery Miller looked on, shocked by the unfolding scene. Could Ethan have foreseen this all along?

Noticing her puzzled expression, Ethan merely lowered his head with a slight smile, offering no explanation. Yuki Mizuko, however, voiced her confusion. "Ethan Montgomery, was it you…?"

Before she could finish, Ethan interrupted, "Wasn't it you who informed Natalie Green?"

Yuki froze. He knew! "Yes, it's true, I told her you were here. But those police…" Her eyes darted around the room, taking in the officers she hadn't anticipated. She thought she'd dismissed them that day, but a lingering sense of unease persisted. She now realized they were so easily swayed because they'd been conspiring with Ethan Montgomery all along.
