The Great Dragon Clash

"Helen, what's going on?!" one of her mates asked scared out of his wits. "Just be quiet and stay down, we'll be alright as long as we stay quiet and hidden", she responded and they all obeyed, especially their teacher who felt she might actually be losing her mind.

Sylvester turned and saw the entire class pressed against the windows with jaw-dropped expressions on their faces. Sylvia followed his gaze and saw the looks on their faces. She sighed and looked at the noon sky, "This is going to be a battle we shan't soon forget", she thought to herself as the two beasts charged at each other with great ferocity, bashing their heads and horns together.

The clash of their collision sent a shockwave that travelled for miles and almost knocked the group off the cliff, if not for the barrier currently shielding their surroundings and protecting them. "I knew the force of their attacks would be strong but I guess I'm still underestimating how strong dragons really are", Sylvester confessed as the battle proceeded.

The battle raged on for over half an hour and neither party seemed to be showing any signs of exhaustion. Samuel fought with the skills he learnt during his training but he was still unable to subtly overpower his sister who was fighting with just her feral dragon instincts.

Each strike sent shockwaves that damaged their battle ground badly. The shockwave from another clash of their heads caused the two to be pushed back, with Samuel quickly following up with a swipe of his tail.

Catherina somersaulted allowing her to nimbly dodge his tail. The wind pressure from the swing of his tail cut through some trees like a sword. The two beasts roared at each other, and with a beat of their wings, suddenly shot off the ground into the sky.

Once in the sky, they clashed once again; the force of the clash being greater than before. "The force of their attacks have increased", Sylvia observed. "Yeah! I guess being in the sky gives them better manueuverability. You'll notice their speeds have also increased resulting in a greater force when they clash", Sylvester explained.

"You're right. Also, it's good they took this battle to the sky. With the way the ground is ripped apart with each of their strikes, I sincerely doubt this location would be recognizable on the map ever again", Dr. Michelson commented.

"I agree. The damage so far is already unrepairable", Delgato added his observation. As for the Griffins, they could do nothing but stare at their two monster children clashing in the skies above their heads.

Just then, Dr. Michelson had an alert on his pager. "Oh no! this is bad!" Dr. Michelson sighed. "What's wrong Doc.", Sylvester asked. "We've got trouble", he responded and tapped the communication device, in his ear. "Samuel, come in; can you hear me?" he asked over the communicator.

"I'm kind of in the middle of something here Doc.", Samuel responded in his draconic voice as he dodged a sharp slash from Catherina's claws. "I'll be brief. There will be a satellite camera moving overhead soon. You need to end this battle before your images are captured", he shouted to Samuel on the communicator.

"Easier said than done Doc. Can't Lisia change its trajectory or something?" he asked as he threw a slash of his own. "If its trajectory is changed, it would draw unwanted attention. It is the satellite used in updating the worlds map. The best Lisia can do is to buy you time. You need to stop holding back. She is a dragon as well; she's more durable than you realize", Dr. Michelson informed.

"Okay, I understand. I'll try my best to end this quickly", Samuel said with a nod as he sped up suddenly and rammed into Catherina's body causing her to gasp for breath. He quickly dodged as Catherina tried to catch him in a bear hug and he followed up with a back-flipping swing of his tail, nailing her in the chest and jaw, knocking her upwards.

"What happens if their images are captured?" Vivian asked. "There will be an image of two dragons engaged in a violent battle semi-permanently on every device with a satellite view of the world map".

"The only reason why people like those from the Pentagon or the other government security agencies haven't been snooping around, even though knowledge of their existence is already out there is because, the information out there is being treated as an urban rumour, or a prank from people with good computer skills. They are not willing to sacrifice resources just to chase after a rumour".

"Lisia has done a great job wiping out anything that could serve as undeniable proof of their existence. If they should get prooof from a source of their own like this satellite camera, these agencies will most likely fear the danger and seek to destroy them resulting in them literally breathing down our necks".

"Also, if a genuine image of your kids in dragon form winds up on the internet, it will draw the attention of weirdos, geeks and fanatics to this location. Imagine if they came here and saw them face to face. We've been careful so far to prevent Samuel's image from being captured by any other satellites or drones all throughout his training", Dr. Michelson explained. "I get it. This is a case of unwanted publicity", Delgato chipped in.

As the battle intensified further, Catherina shot a powerful breath of fire suddenly at Samuel trying to catch him off guard but he countered with an equally powerful breath of ice.

The clash of the two elements brought about thunderclouds overhead; as a result of the opposing fire and ice breaths clashing. It created a massive warm and cold front as the thunderclouds grew denser, releasing heavy rains akin to storms.

"I would have loved to continue this battle but there's no more time. Sorry sis", Samuel thought to himself as, with a sudden concentrated show of force, his ice overpowered Catherina's fire, hitting her and encasing part of her body and wings in ice, putting her in a daze.

"End this now!!" Dr. Michelson shouted. Almost instantaneously, Samuel flew higher and with great speed, did multiple three-hundred-and-sixty-degree forward spins towards her and, using his heavy tail, struck her down to the ground. The impact of her fall caused the entire area to shake violently. The observers had to stay low to the ground to avoid being thrown down. The students in the bus had had their world view expanded. Who would have thought that they would get to experience such a thing on their field trip? Their friends back at school were going to be so jealous.

Samuel stared at the crater created by his sisters' fall and immediately flew down and pinned her to the ground. He then gave a loud deafening roar, signaling his victory. Catherina's eyes dilated as she stopped struggling and became docile, recognizing her opponent's win and submitting to him completely.

"He won the battle. That was pretty intense", Sylvester said. "Yeah, the fight was more than I expected it to be", Sylvia added. "All that is left is for him to free her consciousness. Lisia is buying us enough time. It will take a few minutes but they'll notice the interference and try to correct it", Dr. Michelson added, still protected from the slowly dispersing storm by the lightning barrier.

Samuel grabbed hold of Catherina's head and made her look into his eyes. His eyes then dilated and glowed slightly, a sign that his hypnosis was activated. Using his hypnosis, in combination with the telepathic link he had with his sister, Samuel reached deep into her dragon psyche and released her human consciousness, proceeding to sync both her human consciousness and her dragon consciousness into one like his.

Catherina roared as her eyes glowed in response to Samuel's. The glow in her eyes dimmed as her eyes contracted and the haze in her eyes appeared to clear. "Big brother, is that you?" she asked when her mind cleared and she regained consciousness, hugging him instantly. "Yes, it's me Cathy. How are you feeling?" Samuel asked as he returned the hug.

"I am not sure. I feel like a train just run over me though. It's so crazy", She responded with a snicker. "Well considering the fact that I just beat you up to save you, it's normal that you feel like a wreck", Samuel said to her with a smirk. "What?! You mean we fought?" she asked surprised. "Yeah, but you are okay now", he said as he helped her to her feet. She turned around and saw the damage they had caused to the environment. "Oooooo! That's a lot of damage for one sibling fight", she joked. "I know right? It's crazy", he responded as the both burst into laughter; the sound being more apparent due to their dragonic voices.
