Keep You're Friends Close But You're Rivals Far Away

"Oh, i can't wait for this store to open!", someone in the crowd that gathered around the new restaurant in town said. "I heard there food is off the charts", another person said. "This is so exiting", another person said just as the doors opened and Donald stepped outside and stepped behind some yellow ribbon that blocked the entrance to the building. He was also wearing a rather good looking suit as well on this day. This suit he was wearing was a mixture of black and white and it looked so fashionable that he could star as a secret agent in a spy movie. "Good morning everyone!", Donald said in a clear voice. "I just wanted to thank you all for coming to the grand opening of something i have dreamed about for many moons now. To see this place still brings a tear to my eye. Now without further ado, I welcome you to a store that won't make you bore, "The First Resort!", Donald said as he cut the ribbon that was blocking the entrance. Not even a second after he cut the ribbon, the crowd that waited so patiently had rushed into the store. Donald didn't even get a chance to react as he got ambushed by the crowd and couldn't move out of the way in time. It was only until the last person entered that he was able to move again even though it took him a few seconds to stand up again. As he was about to enter the store, something caught his eye as he turned his head and saw four people who didn't rush into the store but stood still as if they were waiting for something. "Ah, hello there.", Donald said as Peter and Pat walked up to him. "Hello to you as well", Peter said as he reached out his hand to Donald and the two shook hands. "We noticed that you moved here rather recently right?", Pat asked in a friendly voice. "Why yes we did. As a matter of fact, my family moved here as well", Donald said in happy voice. "Ahh, that's great. "We also live here on the street as well and wanted to welcome you here", Peter said in a calmest voice. "Oh why thank you. I always wanted to see the city for myself.", Donald said. "Speaking of, would you be so kind to head inside and have a bite?" "I suppose we have the time", Pat said as Donald noticed Wyatt and Teagan. "And who might you two be?", Donald asked. "The names Wyatt and this is my girl Teagan", Wyatt said as Teagan signaled Wyatt to grab her hand. "Very nice to meet you two", Donald said. "That's my daughter and that's his son", Peter said as he pointed at the three of them. "Ahh ok. Good to know", Donald said as the five of them headed inside "The First Resort". "Woah, this, this is what i call, a fancy restaurant", Pat said as his, along with Wyatt, Teagan and Peter's eyes were stunned as they looked inside the restaurant. This place had an American theme and an Italian theme fused into one with the floor being checkered tiles while the walls resembled a brown and a while color combo and the celling above wasn't a celling at all but what looked to be a painting with building to the sides and "The First Resort" building was in the middle of the painting, looking so eye catching that it would be the first thing you noticed when you walked in. The four's eyes were feasting as this restaurant was nothing they had ever seen. It made places like "Late Day Off" look like Childs play compared to this. "Isn't she beautiful?", Donald said with a smile on his face. "I think beautiful would be an understatement", Wyatt said. "Well i don't know about that one. Would you care to take a seat or are we going to stand here all day?", Donald said as he lead them to a table in the back as everywhere else was full as heck. "To be honest, i wasn't expecting this place to be so popular right away.", Donald said. "Get use to it. When a new business opens up here, it's packed on the first day", Peter responded. "I'm not that surprised. I heard that New Yorkers crowd stores right when they open up or something like that", Donald said. "Yeah, that is true to some extent", Teagan said as she blushed a little. "Say Donald, how did you get this place to look so stunning?", Wyatt asked. "Oh that's a story all on it's own but basically, i got a huge raise at a company i use to work for and i used that money to pay for all of this, including the mural up there witch didn't really cost as much as you would think. Rather pricy but a reasonable price", Donald said. Just then, a teenager who looked to be 17 was walking down the isle and saw Wyatt. "Oh hey there Wyatt", The teen said in a cheerful voice. "Oh hey Zack", Wyatt said as he and Zack did a handshake. "Good to see you man", Wyatt said. "It's good to see you two. Have you tried the food here?", Not yet.", Wyatt said. "It's so good. It might even be better then your other stores", Zack said as the looks on Pat and Peter's faces changed so quickly from a happy look into a terrified look like they had just seen a ghost. "Was i not suppose to say that?", Zack asked. "Wait a second, what were your last names again?", Donald asked as his tone changed from a calm tone into an serious tone. "Marson and Greyback", Pat said as Donald looked at them with very, very angry eyes.

"AND STAY OUT! I WOULD NEVER, EVER LET THE COMPATITION INTO MY STORE AND LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT!!", Donald yelled as he threw the five out of the store and slammed the door. "Well that didn't go well", Peter said. "And i thought you two were bad when competition got the better of you", Zack said. "Sorry for the whole thing though." "Eh, don't sweat about it, it was bound to happen", Pat said. "In the meantime, what do we do now?", Teagan asked. "I don't think we should do anything", Wyatt said. "What?", Everyone asked. "I think we need to wait and see what this restaurant does to our sales and then we work something out", Wyatt said. "I think that's a solid idea", Zack said. "Well he has a point, we can't be sure until it starts to effect us after all", Peter said. "Wish i had learned that lesson a while ago", Pat said. "That makes sense", Teagan said as the five of them walked away from the store and headed back inside for the day, not knowing what they had walked away from.
