Chapter 48 Clarissa Greengrass

A few days later, at the Greengrass House, Professor Severus Snape was closely examining the healing potion. After conducting some tests, he finally put down the bottle and said, "It has healing properties, but I don't think it can cure the blood curse. However, if you give this medicine to your daughter regularly, it should manage the symptoms and prevent any problems from the blood curse."

Clarissa Greengrass, standing nearby, took a deep breath before speaking. "Then can you recreate this potion or, if possible, find a cure for the blood curse?"

Snape raised an eyebrow, his gaze piercing. "Clarissa, I must question if your potion results at Hogwarts were real. You are asking me to recreate a potion with unfamiliar ingredients and an unknown brewing method."

Clarissa met his gaze steadily, her expression unwavering. "That is why I need your help. Please, for the sake of my daughter."

Snape considered her words. "If you can bring me the recipe or at least a list of its ingredients, I can create a better potion. But judging from your situation, I don't think you have them."

"But I know who might have some."

"Very well, tell me who this genius is," Snape's tone was measured.

"It's Sasuke Uchiha. You should know him, a first-year Slytherin."

"Then I have to disappoint you. Sasuke Uchiha is someone who can follow the books, but he is not someone who can invent a new potion. If he does have a recipe, then you can use similar methods to get it."

Daphne Greengrass, hearing all this from the side, was embarrassed. "Professor, can you ask him for the recipe? I don't think he will listen to me anymore."

Looking at the little Greengrass and remembering all the rumors in Hogwarts, Snape sighed. "Then I think you should drop your hopes. I don't think he will listen to anyone."

After saying this, Snape prepared to leave.

"Wait, what do you mean, Severus?" questioned Mrs. Greengrass.

As Snape was about to step into the fireplace, he stopped for a moment. "There are many people who want his special magic, but he has refused everyone. For some reason, our principal is giving him VIP treatment." With that, he left through the fireplace.

Turning to her daughter, Clarissa said, "Daphne, I need to know everything about Uchiha."

Daphne began to explain everything about Uchiha, including his shameful offer and his reputation as a playboy.

Snape, who had finally left the Greengrass house, arrived at the principal's office via the fireplace.

"Severus, were you able to help the Greengrass family?" Dumbledore inquired.

"No, the potion they have is not strong enough to cure a 200-year-old curse."

"That's really a disappointment. Sorry to waste your time, Severus."

"If you really want to help them, you can ask Mr. Uchiha for the recipe so I could create a better potion."

"I don't think he has the recipe, Severus," Dumbledore explained further. "He's trying to learn medical skills so he can heal himself during battles. If he had an unlimited supply of healing potions, he wouldn't need to learn medical skills."

"Oh, you seem to be quite interested in him, since you are giving him such VIP treatment."

"I'm just doing so he wouldn't sneak around. At least now I would know if he is doing some terrible experiments."

"What are you planning, Dumbledore?"

"Nothing, Severus."

"I'll believe you for now," Snape said as he left the principal's office.

At the same time, Sasuke Uchiha, after exchanging some system points for galleons, was shopping for some materials.

After spending around 2000 gallons on some special products, he retrieved a portkey. With a swish, he found himself standing in front of Gemma Farley's house. Surrounded by a forest, it was a place he had grown familiar with recently.

As he approached the house, one of the house-elves was waiting for him. "Is everything ready?" Sasuke asked.

"Yes, master," the elf replied.

With a little excitement in his heart, Sasuke made his way to the experiment room, where a few small animals and even another house elf were ready to be used.
