chapter 101 Chapter: using Pensive and fighting ANBU

Watching both of them, Sasuke said in a low voice, "I have something to show you." He took out a Pensieve, a shallow metal basin adorned with symbols and precious stones, and then, tapping his wound, he drew out silvery, cloud-like memories from his forehead and placed them into the Pensieve.

Sakura and Ino's curiosity was piqued as they looked at the enigmatic item.

Ino leaned forward, her eyes narrowing. "What is this?"

"A Pensieve," Sasuke continued, "an item that allows you to store your memories and let others see them." Standing up, he added, "Let me show you something. Just follow my actions."

Sasuke leaned over the Pensieve, his face almost touching the swirling liquid. With a determined expression, he submerged his head into the basin. Ino and Sakura exchanged a glance before following his lead.

The silvery, cloudy liquid in the Pensieve swirled, and Ino and Sakura found themselves transported into an arena. The air was thick with tension, and the ground bore the scars of many battles.

The scene shifted to the middle of an intense battle. Ino and Sakura stood opposite each other, the determination in their eyes burning fiercely. Sakura launched forward with a series of swift, powerful punches. Ino dodged gracefully, her movements fluid and precise, her eyes never leaving her opponent.

"Mind Transfer Jutsu!" Ino shouted, her chakra flaring as she attempted to catch Sakura off guard. Sakura evaded, countering with a powerful kick that Ino barely managed to block. The match continued, each kunoichi demonstrating their skills and strategies honed over years of rigorous training. After an intense exchange, both fighters collapsed from exhaustion, neither able to claim victory.

The scene shifted again, now to a place where Sasuke and Sakura were taking a stroll in a peaceful forest. The sunlight filtered through the trees, casting dappled shadows on the ground. Birds sang softly in the distance, their melody a stark contrast to the tension that hung in the air. Sakura seemed unusually quiet, her gaze fixed on the ground. Suddenly, she took out a knife and, with a swift motion, stabbed Sasuke from behind, piercing him as blood spurted from the wound. The tranquility of the forest was shattered by Sasuke's gasp of pain.

Putting some distance between them, he looked back at Sakura, who was holding the knife with his blood on it, her eyes wide with shock and confusion.

From a distance, Sasuke, Sakura, and Ino were watching this entire scene. Not wanting to let them see the next part, Sasuke stopped the memories and let them come out of the Pensieve.

Sasuke pulled his head out of the Pensieve, his expression somber. Ino and Sakura followed, their faces pale from the vivid scenes they had just witnessed.

"What was that?" Sakura asked, her voice trembling. "Why did I—"

"It's a mission by the elders," Sasuke interrupted, his voice firm. "What you saw was the future. The Pensieve showed you my memory, a future I lived."

Sakura, still processing what she had seen, asked, "What do you mean?"

Sasuke sighed, his eyes meeting Sakura's. "Three years later in my life, at my last moment, time got reversed, and I gained some special skills."

Sakura took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. "But why would I accept the Konoha elders' mission to kill you?"

"To save your parents," Sasuke replied. "Of course, they didn't survive. The moment you left to kill me, they were already killed. Regardless of your success or failure, they would send ninjas to silence you since nobody wants to make threatening your own ninja public knowledge."

Sakura looked at Sasuke. "But why would they do that?"

"Because they are also responsible for the destruction of the Uchiha. If you need proof, one piece of evidence is the necklace you're wearing, which can stop someone from mind-controlling you in another world. If you had fought with Ino, you would have had a higher chance of winning. Soon, I am also going to get many mission records similar to your case."

Sakura, her determination rekindled, looked at Sasuke. "If you can prove it, I can support you."

Ino, who had been silent, finally spoke up. "I don't think you're going to let me go."

Sasuke gave a smile. "Of course not. You need to know your clan is also involved. If you don't want me to go after them, then you should know what to do."

Closing his eyes for a second as his shadow clone transferred the information, he raised his lips as he secured Hinata's sister.

Before he could resume his talk, the magical alarm he had put for strangers notified him. After checking around, he saw 20 people coming. He stood up and called everyone outside of the house.

After arriving outside, he checked everyone's situation: Kin, Vinda Rosier, Hinata who was unconscious, and her sister, whom he had sent a shadow clone with 20% of his chakra and magic to kidnap.

Asking both Kin and Rosier to take care of Hinata's sister, he took out his wand. Using his Sharingan, he absorbed the upcoming ANBU ninjas.

Looking at the ANBU ninjas, Ino was relieved inside, thinking she could finally go back to her family.

Sasuke, while looking at them, created another clone to pick up Sakura's parents so there would be no hostage situation. For Hinata and her sister, he planned to go with the script of kidnapping them so he would have time to prepare a place for the Hyūga clan.

Sasuke started transforming his house so he could put it inside the system space. As the house started to come alive and detach itself from the ground, it disappeared into the system space.

As the dust settled from the house's disappearance, Sasuke looked at Rosier. "I think this is a good chance for you to experience how to fight ninjas."

With a flick of her wand, Rosier muttered, "Protego Maxima." A shimmering, translucent shield formed around her and Sasuke, deflecting the initial barrage of shuriken and kunai from the ANBU.

The ANBU leader signaled his team, and they split into two groups, flanking from both sides. One group charged at Rosier, while the other focused on Sasuke.

Rosier stood her ground, her wand pointed directly at the incoming ninjas. "Confringo!" she shouted, and a burst of explosive fire shot towards the nearest ANBU, forcing them to leap aside to avoid the blast.

Two ANBU used Body Flicker Technique, reappearing on either side of Rosier. They swung their tanto blades with precision, aiming to disarm her. But she cast another protective spell, sending a shockwave that threw the ninjas back.

One ANBU tried to use a fire-style jutsu. "Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" A massive fireball roared towards Rosier. She raised her wand, controlled the fire, and sent it back with a little improvement.

Sasuke, without any effort, dispatched his opponents and turned to see Rosier holding her own.

The ANBU, realizing they were outmatched, attempted to retreat. Sasuke, not wanting them to leave, transformed the ground and everything around to grab them and stop them from leaving.

With the fight over, Sasuke and Rosier regrouped. "Not bad," Sasuke said, acknowledging her skill. "But the real challenge lies ahead. We need to be prepared for anything."

Rosier nodded, catching her breath. "I've fought many battles, but this was unlike any other. Let's hope we don't encounter too many more surprises."

Sasuke, with a hint of amusement, asked, "What do you think about playing with fire?"
