Nova's Origin.

As the heavy doors closed behind Max and Ignis, leaving Nova and Cynthia alone in the grand throne room, a profound silence settled. Cynthia, regal and ethereal, approached Nova with a grace that belied her immense power. She extended her hand towards Nova's head, a gesture that initiated a connection between them.

As Cynthia's hand made contact with Nova's forehead, a surge of energy coursed through both of them, creating an otherworldly trance. Their surroundings blurred, and the physical world seemed to dissolve into an unseen realm where only their essences remained.

In this trance, Cynthia delved into the core of Nova's being, seeking the threads of his origin. The cosmic energies intertwined, revealing glimpses of Nova's true nature. Yet, as Cynthia delved deeper, an unexpected sight awaited her—an eye, silver with a haunting red aura, stared back at her from within Nova's origin.

Cynthia, who had witnessed countless phenomena and encountered beings of immense power, felt a chill run down her immortal spine. This eye held a presence that transcended the boundaries of her understanding—an ancient, primal force that resonated with both fear and awe.

Nova regained his senses and asked Cynthia, "What the hell was that? Did you probe me without my permission?"

Cynthia spoke, "Don't worry about it. In exchange for my rudeness, I will tell you about your existence."

Nova, knowing he couldn't do anything to her anyway, accepted her explanation. He answered, "Tell me what you know about me, Your Majesty."

Cynthia asked Nova a question before explaining, "Before I explain about your existence, what do you know about this universal plane and other planes?"

Nova answered, "I know there are light realm and dark realm with the avatars as their guardians. I don't know much about the forbidden realm, but I heard Thranites who wield chaos energy are from that realm. And COC, an alliance not bound by any realms and ruled by you."

Cynthia, understanding what Nova knew, began to unveil a whole mess of information that would alter Nova's understanding of the world view.

She began the explanation, "What I am about to tell you is not known by most of the people; only rulers and important people like seers, avatars, and overseers know about it."

Cynthia continued, "Yes, what you said is correct. Now, imagine the forty percent of land as the entirety of primordial chaos, the essence of existence. The remaining sixty percent represents the broader expanse of reality.

Consider a water body composed of countless drops – each of these drops is analogous to a universal plane. The knowledge you possess pertains to this specific universal plane, but there are millions of others, each governed by rulers responsible for their respective domains."

Nova, grappling with the enormity of Cynthia's revelations, questioned, "You must be jesting, Your Majesty. Are rulers not absolute, second only to the supremes? How can there be other universal planes as vast as ours? And how did the Supremes manage this grand design of existence?"

Cynthia clarified, "The Supremes are indifferent to our struggles; they create and discard universal planes at their whims. They select an entity as an avatar, bestow upon them the power of the avatar realm, and then move on to craft a new universal plane."

Interrupting, Nova asked, "What about the forbidden realm? I've heard it's not created by either the creator or the destroyer."

Cynthia reluctantly shared the information, her gaze distant as if reliving forgotten memories. "There is another supreme, a being erased from the collective consciousness. Even I don't possess the complete knowledge of the forbidden realm's existence. The lords are selective in what they disclose, they just good at issuing orders. This forbidden realm encompasses total of ten percent of the entire cosmic tapestry."

Nova probed further, his curiosity unabated. "Why do the lords of the forbidden realm abstain from entering the universal plane?"

Cynthia responded with a tinge of regret, "They are bound to the forbidden realm, confined by a seal crafted by the Supremes. You must be acquainted with the tale, or at least the rendition shared by Alaric."

Nova sought clarity, "Are you suggesting that the story I know isn't entirely accurate?"

Cynthia explained, "Not every detail aligns with reality, but the essence of the seal remains true."

Nova pondered, "How does all of this relate to my existence?"

Cynthia sighed, recognizing the need for patience. "I am getting to that. Please refrain from interrupting." Nova acquiesced, allowing her to proceed.

Cynthia continued, "The seal cast upon the chaos supreme is genuine. We, as agents of the chaos lords, were tasked with breaking the seal and emancipating the supreme being. The seal is known as 'Chrono Nexus.'"

Nova interjected; his memories stirred by the mention of those words. "The only thing I remember is 'Chrono Nexus.' Now we are delving into something relevant to my past."

Cynthia, displaying her authority, raised her hand, and with a mere utterance, silenced Nova. His mouth, despite the urge to question further, remained obediently sealed.

Cynthia continued, "Yes, Chrono Nexus, the first seal crafted by the Supremes to imprison the chaos supreme. After a few millennia, we discovered a weakened point in the seal, and we tirelessly attempted to unseal it without alerting the Supremes.

The vulnerable spot was located in this universal plane. So, I entered this plane, unaware that leaving would require specific conditions, trapping me here without an escape route.

"After a millennium on this plane, my superiors sent instructions on how to potentially open the seal. They dispatched batches of individuals periodically, and I infused them with chaos energy before sending them through the crack in the seal. Unfortunately, they met a gruesome end upon entering, as the seal was not meant for mortals.

"One day, you were among the chosen for this sacrificial ritual. I did the same to you, filled your origin energy with chaos, and threw you into the seal. You should be dead. Imagine my surprise when you stand before me now."

Nova contemplated, "So, I managed to escape the seal."

Cynthia clarified, "No one escapes that place. Once you're in, there's no way out, and the one I threw in is not the same as the one that emerged. The one I sacrificed had light energy, while you are an entirely different entity, merely wearing that body as a shell."

This revelation shook Nova to the core, and he whispered, "Then the sacrifice worked. Obviously, I am the supreme. When he died inside the seal, my consciousness and origin must have occupied this body."

Cynthia chuckled, "No way, you moron. That's why I probed your energy to dispel my suspicions. You are not the supreme, but also not the one I sacrificed. You are someone or something else from within the seal. Who you are, I do not know. Even I cannot probe your energy."

Nova, dumbstruck by Cynthia's revelation, was left with lingering questions about his identity. He hesitated before finally speaking, "Maybe I am someone the supreme created within the seal to be a companion?"

Cynthia responded, "The thing about the chaos supreme is he cannot create anything with his chaos energy alone. He needs to use something as a conduit to create."

Nova pressed further, "Then what am I?"

Cynthia admitted, "What you are, I don't know. Maybe we can help each other. I can assist you in discovering who you are, and in return, you will help me find a way out of this plane. "Will Nova make the deal with Cynthia or Not.
