The atmosphere in the throne room lingered with a mix of tension and intrigue as Nova and Cynthia engaged in this cryptic conversation. Nova, now filled with a sense of purpose in uncovering the mysteries of his own existence, couldn't help but ponder the complexities of the universal planes and the elusive nature of his being.
Nova, puzzled by the situation, asked, "How can I help you to cross over the plane?"
Cynthia replied, "I know. You need to just lay low, and I will call for you when I gather the necessary requirements. I know you can use all three energies that can be helpful. And, not to forget, tell me about this chaos orb you sold to Ragnar?"
Nova explained, "It's nothing special. I just poured a concentrated amount of chaos energy into it. Normally, that doesn't enable anyone to reach a new realm. I tried the same method with others, but it didn't work. The thing about Ashura may be an exception."
Cynthia agreed with his explanation and asked, "Do you have anything else to ask?"
Nova said, "Just one for now. This vessel, where is he from?"
Cynthia replied, "Don't know, but I can get that information if you want."
Nova nodded his head, saying, "Tell me when you get the info."
Cynthia hinted, "You can go back after the event tomorrow and do not tell anyone about what we talk."
Nova agreed and asked, "Not even Mr. Maximilian?"
Cynthia said, "He knows most of it anyway. You can tell him. He is a lazy fool, you know that, right?"
Both Cynthia and Nova nodded in unison.
Cynthia, with a regal air about her, addressed Nova's party, bringing them back into the fold of the unfolding events.
Nova's children, Ignis and Freya, visibly concerned, couldn't help but express their worry for their father.
Nova, assuring them of his well-being, introduced a paradigm shift by declaring their newfound alliance with COC and Lady Cynthia. The siblings, though curious, trusted their father's judgment and nodded in silent agreement.
Maximilian, a bit puzzled by the abrupt developments, looked to Nova for guidance. Nova, in a calm yet assertive tone, urged Maximilian to trust him and assured that all would be explained in due time.
Cynthia, seeing the unity within the group, proposed a crucial aspect of Nova's journey – the establishment of a family and a family name. Nova, taking a moment to ponder, decided to keep this aspect under wraps for the time being, intending to announce his family name on the day of his coronation.
With a sense of purpose, Nova expressed his commitment to transform the barren planet into a source of pride. He hinted at a grand event, inviting those close to him to witness the transformation and the birth of a new family name.
As the pieces of this cosmic puzzle fell into place, Nova's resolve strengthened, and the alliance with COC marked the beginning of a new chapter in his life.
Cynthia turned her attention back to Nova's response about attending a celebration in the Eldermyst estate. Cynthia then remarked to Maximilian, "Oh, so your son is getting married, huh! I thought you would let Atticus marry into my family. My daughter will be quite disappointed, Max."
Still processing the wealth of information about Cynthia's family, Nova asked, "Your Majesty, you are married? And you have children."
Cynthia, with a cryptic smile, responded, "No, just like you, I adopted three children. Two sons and one daughter. I gave them my family name, 'Silver night.'"
As the conversation unfolded, the throne room's door suddenly banged open, and a sense of urgency filled the air. Guards yelled about the arrival of a princess, and all heads bowed in respect. A mysterious woman, the royal princess, entered, her face obscured.
The princess, seemingly displeased, confronted her mother, Cynthia, questioning why Mr. Maximilian was present and expressing her adamant refusal to marry his son.
As they moved through the crowd, Cynthia spoke to Catherine in a hushed tone, reminding her to behave appropriately. The princess adjusted her demeanor and greeted the guests with a radiant smile, her face glowing with an air of nobility.
In a poised voice, Catherine introduced herself to the gathering, "Hello everyone, I am Catherine Silvernight, the first child of Queen Cynthia. My name is bestowed upon me by my mother herself."
The guests, already captivated by the royal aura, acknowledged Catherine with nods and polite applause. Her presence added an extra layer of majesty to the celebration, making her the center of attention.
Catherine, with a raised eyebrow, glanced at Maximilian, registering his words with a mixture of amusement and surprise. She responded with a playful tone, "Mr. Maximilian, your charm seems timeless. I must admit, your son has quite the challenge to match up to your youthful appearance."
Maximilian chuckled, acknowledging the compliment, "Well, you're too kind, Princess Catherine. I'm flattered by your words."
Catherine, maintaining her composed demeanor, addressed Maximilian's earlier statement about marriage, "By the way, you mentioned marriage. Is your son finally tying the knot, or are we discussing a different son here?"
Maximilian clarified, "Indeed, Princess. Atticus is getting married. It seems my attempt at humor might have caused some confusion."
Cynthia interjected, sensing the jest in the air, "Catherine, you need not worry about any impending marriages. Mr. Maximilian is merely sharing the joyous news about his son Atticus. No need to reconsider your stance on marriage just yet."
Catherine let out a small laugh, realizing the misunderstanding. "Ah, I see. Well then, congratulations to Atticus on this joyous occasion," she said, offering a polite nod to Maximilian.
Meanwhile, in the throne room, Cynthia turned her attention to Ashura. "Retrieve the surveillance personnel. We wouldn't want unnecessary eyes on our dealings. Nova is an asset, and I need him focused on our shared goals, not distracted by prying eyes."
Ashura, with a nod, acknowledged the order and vanished, leaving the throne room empty.
-Max's Room-
"What exactly did Cynthia reveal to you?" Questioned by Maximilian.
Nova explained everything Cynthia and him discussed in the throne Room.
Max nodded saying, 'I know everything you just mentioned, we have been trying to get out of this dimensional plane for quite some time we are preparing the requirements to reach into outer plane, but the Avatars and their syndicate can never allow us to pass through the plane.'
Nova asked Maximilian, 'The Syndicate that you mention, is it The Liberators'.
Max become puzzled and said, 'How do you know about the Liberators.'
Nova replied, 'Aren't they the organization with unclear objectives, your father is also a member of the organization.'
Max leaned back, exhaling heavily. "The Syndicate, or as you called them, the Liberators, is a group formed with the initial goal of breaking free from this dimensional plane. My father, Alaric, was indeed part of it from the beginning. However, things changed over time."
Nova listened intently, urging Max to continue.
"The Liberators' objectives became more radical. Instead of seeking a way out for everyone, they wanted to monopolize the escape routes, closing any remaining doors to the outer plane. My father and some others opposed this drastic shift. They aimed for a collective liberation, not the imprisonment of others."
Nova frowned, absorbing the gravity of the situation. "So, the Liberators turned into a force that wants to trap everyone here, including us?"
Max nodded. "Exactly. That's why my father decided to act against them. He couldn't let their sinister plan unfold. He kept vital information hidden, preventing them from gaining complete control over the dimensional gates."
As the weight of the revelations settled in the room, Nova's gaze sharpened. "Are you talking about Stellar Nexus's coordinates?"
Max, taken aback by Nova's knowledge, nodded slowly. "Yes, Stellar Nexus is the key to the planes, but it can also lock out the plane and isolate it. The avatars are very fearful of the outer plane, and they want to secure their positions in existence as absolute authorities. They send gods outside the plane to find the seal and lock away this plane."
Nova contemplated the dire implications of Max's words. "The seal is in a place where no living entity can enter, in primordial chaos—a space so vast that one can search for it for eternity and still not find it without the coordinates. Your father knew the exact coordinates to the seal."
Understanding dawned on Max's face. "That's why the last words he said were 'do not let them find it.' Now I understand what the words meant. Where did you find the coordinates? Only my father knew."
Nova leaned back, "Eva found a sealed scroll in your father's study. The scroll was left for her. It contains the coordinates and the words 'Stellar Nexus' on it."
Max, connecting the dots, remarked, "I see. So, Father predicted that Eva would win the succession and become the ruler."
Nova shifted the conversation, his focus unwavering. "What are the requirements to open the outer plane?"
Max sighed, "We have information on everything but a conduit to process them. The elements required to open the outer plane are a mix of both light and dark energies. We need to create something that can contain the energies from those elements."
