The sudden change in the landscape left Nova intrigued. Choosing to explore the newfound richness of his planet, he decided to take a stroll, with the guards, including Vispeda, following closely behind.
The sudden change in the landscape left Nova intrigued. Choosing to explore the newfound richness of his planet, he decided to take a stroll, with the guards, including Vispeda, following closely behind.
Vispeda respectfully replied, "Yes, my lord."
Nova, eager to understand the motives behind the diverse inhabitants of his planet, questioned Vispeda about their decision to come here, given the planet's young age.
Vispeda's response painted a poignant picture of their past, "Your Majesty, many rulers think of us as brutes, using us only in wars. They treat us as tools meant for war. But when we met Lord Ignis, he explained about you and promised a life where we won't be hunted and used as tools."
Nova, slightly surprised, remarked, "Huh, that boy Ignis seems to have matured."
Expressing his desire to explore important places and meet the diverse species, Nova hinted at his intention to see all facets of his planet. Vispeda nodded in acknowledgment and led Nova first to the castle, explaining its significance as the heart of the planet. The enchanted structure housed various arrays, off-limits to most inhabitants.
The journey continued to the Forbidden Forest, a mysterious realm where only Nova, Lord Ignis, and the Chancellor had the right to enter. Nova, intrigued by the idea that some beings resided there, decided to venture into the forest alone, instructing the guards to stay put.
As Nova ventured into the Forbidden Forest, a guard, concerned about his safety, questioned Vispeda's decision to allow Nova to enter without their escort. Vispeda, displaying confidence, responded, "We do not have permission to enter the forest. Do you think we are the only ones protecting His Majesty? The order raised by the Chancellor ensure that they always follow Majesty wherever he goes."
Inside the mystical confines of the Forbidden Forest, Nova encountered the once-ferocious beasts that now displayed a docile demeanor. Nova, sensing a connection with these creatures, raised his hand and gently patted their heads. To his delight, the beasts responded positively to Nova's touch, expressing an unusual fondness.
Impressed by the newfound connection, Nova decided to give these creatures a name - "Ember Beasts." The name resonated with the warm energy that seemed to emanate from both Nova and the creatures.
As Nova continued to explore the forest, he marveled at the harmonious coexistence between himself and the Ember Beasts, a stark contrast to their once aggressive nature.
Deciding to spend the night within the enchanting embrace of the Forbidden Forest, Nova commanded the guards to return and retire. As Nova delved deeper into the heart of the forest, he stumbled upon a mysterious structure resembling a prison.
Approaching the cage, Nova sensed a presence within and inquired, "Who are you? Why are you imprisoned here?"
The presence recognizes the being Infront of him.
A voice from the shadows replied, "Your Majesty, please forgive me. I am the beast who attacked you during the refinement."
Surprised, Nova questioned, "Didn't Freya put you in eternal sleep?"
The imprisoned creature explained, "She did kill me, but I had consumed too many beasts during that time. I lay on the ground with my head severed, but the planet didn't give up on me. It constantly provided me with life force, healing me bit by bit. After a few months, I was totally healed and underwent an evolution.
However, the silver-haired woman came and imprisoned me for the crime of injuring you, Majesty."
Nova, realizing the extraordinary resilience of the planet, responded, "During the time I was asleep, the planet must have protected all beings within its embrace, and that included you too."
Seeking redemption, the prisoner asked, "What will happen to me, Majesty?"
Nova assured, "I will talk to Freya about your situation. Don't worry; everything on the planet are my subjects, including you."
Expressing gratitude, the prisoner humbly stated, "Thank you for forgiving me, Majesty."
The forest is very peaceful unlike the city, he felt peace one with nature itself it's like the planet is embracing him. Nova thougth he must name the planet and give the family name for my children.
The next day unfolded with the dawn, and Nova emerged from the mystical embrace of the Forbidden Forest, greeted by waiting guards led by Vispeda. Inquiring about Nova's night, Vispeda respectfully asked, "How did you spend your night, Your Majesty?"
Nova simply replied, "It's alright," and made his way toward the castle. At the gates, Freya awaited, her concern evident. Nova reassured her, "It's alright, Freya," and proceeded towards the heart of the castle.
Freya, still troubled, voiced her concerns, "Father, spending the night in the forest is not a wise decision."
However, Nova's attention was drawn to a matter on his mind. He instructed Freya to release the Ember Beast imprisoned in the forest. Freya hesitated, citing the creature's past attempt on Nova's life.
Nova, however, acknowledged the transformation of the once-savage beast into a loyal subject of the planet. With a nod from Nova, Freya agreed to release the EmberBeast.
Entering the council chamber, Nova found kings and lords gathered. Freya directed him towards the meeting, and as he walked, Ignis, his son, rushed towards him. Ignis, overcome with emotion, hugged Nova and expressed his worries during Nova's slumber.
Nova, acknowledging the bond that kept him tethered, praised Ignis for his growth, reaching the transcendent intermediate realm in a single year.
Curious about the twins, Nova inquired about their whereabouts.
Ignis explained they were deployed to gain experience in the field. Nova, skeptical of the need for such experience in peaceful times, questioned the decision. Freya reassured him, promising an explanation in the council meeting.
Nova, along with Ignis and Freya, entered the grand council room.
Eighteen ornate chairs awaited the attendees, with the main seat distinctly reserved for Nova. Seats beside him were allocated for Ignis and Freya, while the remaining ten seats accommodated the kings and lords from diverse regions. The final five seats were set aside for the tribes that had settled in the east.
As Nova entered, every being within the council room rose from their seats, a sign of respect for their High Ruler. Voices harmonized in unison, "It's been a pleasure to meet you, Your Majesty."
Acknowledging their greetings, Nova gestured for everyone to take their seats, signaling the commencement of the council meeting.
"The council meeting will begin now," Nova announced, taking his designated seat. Freya and Ignis followed suit, and the kings and lords gracefully assumed their positions. With a nod from Nova, the gathering settled into a momentary quiet.
Freya, in her role as Chancellor, took the initiative to introduce each lord and king present. "Father, we have divided the entire planet into twenty kingdoms. Five of them were ruled by me and Ignis in your absence. The remaining were ruled by beings who exhibited strong leadership qualities and power."
