*Foof*
A soft sound was heard as the flames around disappeared almost as though they never existed in the first place.
The pain too was gone but he could feel an new reserve of power within him.
It felt infinite and was stretched so much further than he initially thought.
He could feel a weird connection to reality itself, almost as though he was the brain that the universe used to function.
The power was intoxicating and much more than anything he had seen or felt.
He had seen Darkseid both in his true form and avatar courtesy of the Apokalips Pit which reached into other dimensions.
Darkseid embodied power but this was beyond that, it was impossible to comprehend yet easy to learn as well. It was here but everywhere.
*Boom*
A large explosion was heard as the entire machine broke down. Despite its large size and might, it seemed as though there was an invincible hand that had snapped it in half.
"Its truly very powerful" Maxwell said as he flashed a smile before slowly raising into the air.
Truthfully he didn't know how he was doing it but it all came naturally… Well not really, there were voices telling him what to do.
Millions of them impacting their knowledge and wills on him but thankfully such information could be processed pretty easily.
A brain that rivals and surpasses even the greatest of Quantum computers wasn't a joke. The voices seemed to be a constant of the Sage Force.
While they whispered sweet nonsenses and very useful things into your mind at the same time, they also granted you a weird automatic mastery over your abilities.
"With this many voices, I wouldn't be surprised if normal people run mad the instant they awaken from the coma they will probably enter from the flames" Maxwell thought as he sped towards the destroyed machine.
Within seconds he was before the mighty machine, it was so big that it covered an entire continent.
"That explains why it could be seen even from such a great distance but even so how long was I out" Maxwell asked.
Even with the advanced technology of the New Gods such a huge project would have taken several months if not years.
This meant that he was out for several months, at least he was out for long enough for the war to end and also for the Parademon army to build this.
Choosing to forget about the machine and all related to the Parademons for now, Maxwell turned to look at his body as tears began to gather in his eyes.
"I'm free" Maxwell shouted into the air
Millions of years of fighting and he had finally done it, he had nearly died many times just for this moment but he had done it.
At this point, he didn't know if he should be thankful to the A.I for using him in the way it had or if he should be angry that it had nearly killed him times.
"Nah, that's a topic for another time but for now, what do I do?" He thought.
He didn't truly think about this part while stick within the Parademon.
