CONQUEST OF THE WEST
"Kublok, why have you betrayed me?" King Anazek asked General Kublok angrily.
"Well, I was never loyal to you in the first place", I replied to the king before I turned back into myself.
"What is the meaning of this, who are you?" Anazek asked me in shock.
"I am not important to you. You should talk to her", I replied to the king as two women appeared before me.
"Who are you?" Anazek asked the woman.
"I am your Savior", Eirot replied to King Anazek to his shock and surprise.
"You are not my savior, you are a usurper", King Anazek scolded her in reply.
"I ask you again, do you yield to me now or do you seek death?" Eirot asked King Anazek.
"Do you think this bloody chain will hold me for long?" Anazek screamed as he suddenly broke the magic chain arraye that trapped him.
-----
King Anazek burst through the ceiling of his grand hall, his massive wings unfurling as he transformed into his true form—an Archdemon, among the most formidable beings from the depths of Hell.
Hovering above us, he unleashed a furious onslaught. His claws tore through the air, sending sharp, molten golden blades slashing towards us.
Miraculously, we evaded each deadly strike, though the force of his attack shattered the hall's walls, exposing the grim reality outside: King Anazek's forces were losing ground to the insurgents.
"Rawwrrrrrr!" bellowed Archdemon Anazek in rage, hurtling towards us.
In a sudden turn, long, golden chains descended upon him, binding his neck, wrists, and ankles with unyielding force.
"Golden Chains of Greed and Restraint"
Before he could break free, a dozen figures clad in gleaming golden armor materialized, wielding swords of polished Mithrium. They struck with precision, delivering a thousand cuts that seemed to pierce even Anazek's formidable defenses.
"Malevolent Knight strikes"
Yet, the Archdemon refused to yield.
With a defiant scream, he was thrown to the ground, then swung back and forth like a pendulum, finally brought under control by powers rivaling that of gods.
"Greater Upheaval and Restraint"
"Greater Suppression"
------
"What is this magic? Only gods could be this strong," King Anazek screamed toward me as he was restrained by my chaos magic that threw him left to right, bottom and up.
"You got that right, this is the power of gods", I replied to him.
"You.. You are the Dark Angel of Revelations", he pointed me out with realization.
"How did you guess it?" Ratatouille asked him.
"The Malevolence. I can sense it. And you, your magic smells of Greed. You are an Anti-Saint", Anazek replied guessing our names.
"Do you yield now?" Eirot asked him.
"Let me finish him with my Mithrium longsword", Lord Brathnok said as he pointed his long shiny sword at the king's heart.
Suddenly, a realization came upon the king. He lost.
"I yield. No wonder I lost so completely. I would never have a chance against characters like you. It is my honor to lose to the gods of Revelations", King Anazek replied to Eirot finally.
Eirot pointed her finger at Anazek's forehead, and a special rune appeared on it. She marked his soul with her magic signing an eternal contract with him, marking him as her slave.
Then I released the king.
King Anazek reached above Fortress Gunungo and before all his demons still fighting against the usurpers, he announced, "Loyal subjects of Gunungo, I am your king Anazek, lay down your arms now. I have surrendered".
King Anazek's announcement surprised the soldiers in the fortress.
Suddenly, Eirot rose into the air and announced, "Your king has surrendered and submitted to me. I am the Savior of Demons. Do you choose to be saved, or do you choose eternal damnation?"
"Is she really the Savior of demons in according to our legends?" one demon asked.
"Legend says that our Savior is a human woman, is she really our Savior", another added.
"We demand proof that you are the Savior", a smart demon asked.
"Proof you demand and proof you shall get", Eirot replied to the demons of fortress Gunungo when the sky cracked open.
A large crucifix appeared in the sky opening a rift to a fiery realm behind it.
"This is the Crucifix of Damnation and behind it is the Fountain of Salvation and the Unholy Grail, the gateway to the resting place of demon souls in the core of Hell", someone explained.
"The Crucifix is the mark of the Savior. It cannot be a mistake", another added.
"I give you a choice, either you submit to me or feed my Unholy Grail", Eirot gave an ultimatum to the citizens of Gunungo.
In the end, all the demons subject of the King of the West were marked by Eirot's magic and became her minions. Not a single demon chose to visit the Core of Hell through her Crucifix. Only those demons who perished in the fight were returned to the Unholy Grail.
"As for you, Anazek. You shall remain King of the West and become my general and you shall command your former servants on my order. Serve me well and I will bring you out of this Hell and into salvation", Eirot told Anazek and he bowed before her.
Reluctant as he may be, King Anazek understood the laws of Hell, survival of the strongest and winner takes all.
"Yes, my Savior", King Anazek replied to Eirot.
The conquest of Fortress Gunungo and the western realms of Hell was complete.
"There is something I don't understand. How did you appear in my fortress indistinguishable from my army who went south for the expedition?" King Anazek asked us.
"When we surrounded your fortress with magical sandstorms, we created several sandstorms along the route back from the south. General Kublok guessed from the many sandstorms on the road that most of them didn't contain much danger and they were there to slow his retreat. So, he charged into the first sandstorm they encountered but waiting for him there was an army several times the size of his", I explained to the king.
"I still don't understand?" King Anazek asked again.
