A Sunny Day

The two figures slid down the rocky slope and stepped on a road.

"Why are we here I5? I was really looking forward to so many deaths taking place. You let me down!"

"These machines were never alive. They are mere imitations of life. Life itself is filthy. I am disappointed in you, for finding happiness in the lowest of things."

"What makes you happy?"

The woman touched I5's cheeks and squished them. More than any pleasure, the pinch was meant to deliver pain.

"There are such things that I give precedence before nominal happiness. One such thing happens to be the reason we are here. Let us focus on that, and I will not be unhappy."

"You keep saying that but you still haven't told me what it is."
