"A choice between dying early or living forever?" the doctor continued. "Which would you choose? Which would your employees choose? I imagine they'd prefer to die young."
The stockbroker started laughing. "You're crazy!"
"Not at all," the woman replied. "All we want is for people to understand. Then perhaps they can come to terms with this problem."
The stockbroker crossed his arms over his chest. "How many times have you been arrested?"
"None."
"Then how do you know you're doing the right thing?"
"We've made mistakes along the way," the doctor admitted. "But we're working hard to correct those errors. Now we must convince others to join us in the effort."
"By taking away our choices," the stockbroker muttered.
"Give people a chance to decide for themselves," the woman replied. "Otherwise, you risk losing control."
"Control?" he scoffed. "You mean you want to control everything."
