Harper was making an ambitiously expansive game, a new type of game with more options than the basic hack-and-slash, where exploration and cleverness were a legitimate course of action, not an extra-hard mode. But he died before he could complete his project. Only to be reborn in that world, as a normal person. Now he is in the world that he created and realizes that he knows things no one else knows, secrets only he knows. Harper sets off to find some of these secrets, wanting to make sure that he has the power to ensure that his world remains pure, that no one will have the power to ruin it like other games. And if the only way to do that is for him to get himself enough magic and mystical artifacts that he can determine the future of the world, then so be it. It wouldn’t be conquest if it was for a good cause. Right?

A World of My Own Making

I only get to be in one more fight before we decide it prudent to leave. Well, before Daniel decides its prudent for me to leave, not really giving me a choice in the matter.


It happens when two wyrmlings dive to attack us, and while we are trying to figure out where they will hit, another creature bursts out of the ground and attacks. It looks like a rhinoceros made of stone, with little trails of magma between the armor plates that cover its form. The horn that comes out of its head seems to have a river of lava tracing up along a very sharp and metal looking spike. 


In the real world, a rhinos horn is actually made up of its hair. But I guess this thing doesnt have any hair. Just more rocks.


Magma Rhino. Rare monster. Level 52. HP: 52,000.


I just have time to Analyze it and try to dive out of the way before it hits me.
