Harper was making an ambitiously expansive game, a new type of game with more options than the basic hack-and-slash, where exploration and cleverness were a legitimate course of action, not an extra-hard mode. But he died before he could complete his project. Only to be reborn in that world, as a normal person. Now he is in the world that he created and realizes that he knows things no one else knows, secrets only he knows. Harper sets off to find some of these secrets, wanting to make sure that he has the power to ensure that his world remains pure, that no one will have the power to ruin it like other games. And if the only way to do that is for him to get himself enough magic and mystical artifacts that he can determine the future of the world, then so be it. It wouldn’t be conquest if it was for a good cause. Right?

Clever: You gain skills, and hence experience, at a much faster rate, and have a chance of learning any skill you witness and identify. You gain +1 Intelligence per level (retroactive).

Notification: You have gained 4 levels. You are now a level 31 Bard. You have (16+10) 26 spell points. You have 20 attribute points. For achieving level 30, please choose: HP, SP, or MP.


When I hit level 20, I chose HP, and it increased the base number of health I get at each level. Its tempting to do the same thing; I have already boosted the MP rate once. But Im using more and more magic, so it makes sense to keep riding that train. So this time, Im choosing MP.
