Halloween
“Have you ever gone to a Halloween party dressed in a couples costume before?” Alexis tugs down her short skirt over her thighs.
“Can't say I have. Last time I even went to a Halloween party was when Abel was little, Probably around ten. It's not necessarily a holiday we celebrate. I guess we're all changing that this year since Monroe's is having a shindig.” I pull the white T-shirt down over my biceps. It's a little tighter than I would normally like, but Lex insisted.
She leans over the bathroom sink, painting her lips red.
“What are our costumes again?” I ask, grabbing for the leather jacket.
She finishes with her lips, wiping around the edges with her nail. “The Taylor Swift song ‘Style.’ Ya know—red lips, short skirt for the woman and James Dean style for the man?”
