In the early morning, Yun Sisi's alarm clock rang at five-thirty.
At the same time, a call came through on her cell phone. Sisi half-asleep, turned over and found herself on the other side of the bed, with her back to Gu Xize.
Gu Xize picked up the phone from the bedside table for her; it was Chen Ziqian.
"Sisi, are you up? See you later, no excuses," Chen Ziqian said. Lately, besides preparing for their university entrance, Ziqian and Sisi were also training for the national Taekwondo finals, which meant their mornings started exceptionally early.
"Sisi is still sleeping." When Gu Xize's deep and magnetic voice resonated through the phone, Chen Ziqian paused, "Oh, isn't she at the Oriental Pearl?"
"She's at Guifang Garden."
"I'm sorry for disturbing."
Just as Gu Xize was about to hang up, a reluctant and somewhat nervous Chen Ziqian asked, "Brother Xize, are you and Sisi, like, officially together now?"
"Yeah."
"Then I feel relieved."
