A sharp and penetrating female voice sounded rather unfriendly behind her.
Chi Xingye was drenched in sweat from running the marathon and was preparing to head to the locker room in the stadium to take a shower and change into clean clothes.

Stop running wild, behaving like an unruly child with no supervision!"
How "merciful" these Wen family members are!
A father, who hadn't met her for more than a decade, suddenly started to worry about the daughter of his ex-wife two months ago.
He violently knocked on the door and insisted on taking her to his home!
The stepmother and stepsister didn't even play the clichéd roles of shutting her out to avoid future disputes over inheritance, as usually depicted in melodramas.
Instead, they began plotting to make her recognize her family and be kept well inside the family for breeding purposes.

After withholding for so long, Wen Guofeng finally revealed his true intentions.
Chi Xingye smiled and sarcastically praised, "You demolished the house and now you're generously offering to provide another one. Uncle, you're really generous!"
