With a light sigh, fluttering his dragon wings, Hai Ruyue lifted Qi Yue's body into the sky, heading toward his Dragon Realm Manor.

...

October is one of the most beautiful seasons in the Capital City. Today is October 8th; the traditional holiday of Yan Huang Republic just passed. The morning in the Capital City is slightly crowded with workers and students resuming their daily routines.

At Qingbei University, as renowned as Huajing University and one of the most well-known universities in the Yan Huang Republic, students are constantly pouring into the school gates.

A sapphire blue sports car made a beautiful turn from a nearby street, accelerating in an instant. Amid the mesmerizing sound of the purring engine, it had already arrived at the entrance of Qingbei University, stopping firmly at the school gate with a screech.

"Ah, it's a blue Lamborghini Bat sports car." The sudden appearance of the top-tier sports car immediately caused a stir in front of the school gate, attracting the eyes of the students almost uncontrollably. Whether it was a boy or a girl, they were all captivated by the enchanting blue, fantasizing about being the owner of the car.

The car door opened upwards, and an eighteen or nineteen-year-old young man stepped out of the car, holding a large bag in his hand. Although his appearance wasn't extremely handsome, it was very harmonious. His height of over one meter eighty, broad shoulders, and the mischievous smile on his face under the reflection of the blue Lamborghini were full of charm. If it weren't for the high quality of the students at Qingbei University, there would probably already be some female screams; of course, even the screaming would mainly be directed at the super sports car.

"Pretty girls of Qingbei University, I, Qi Yue, am here." The young man coming out of the car was Qi Yue, he said with a sigh as he looked at the towering school gate in front of him.

"Mind your image and go find Mingming first." A cool voice came from the driver's seat in the car.

Qi Yue glanced back at Hai Ruyue on the driver's seat, and said, "I got it, Tyrant Dragon. You can go." He dropped these words and walked straight into the campus without turning his head.

Hai Ruyue watched his figure and huffed, mumbling to herself, "That guy is getting more and more arrogant. I think I should make him undergo potential development training again."

After Hai Ruyue took Qi Yue back to Dragon Realm Manor that day, Qi Yue went into deep sleep. He slept for a full hundred days, even missed the start of the school year and only woke up at the end of September. Since there were long vacations anyway, Hai Ruyue simply waited until after October 11 to bring him to Qingbei University.

After waking up, Qi Yue seemed to have no change. He was still as aloof and indifferent to Hai Ruyue as always, neither offending her nor showing any closeness to her. Over these dozen or so days, Hai Ruyue taught him the practice method of the Rise of the Kirin, while Uncle Zhou taught Qi Yue some of his proficient combat skills.

After sleeping for a hundred days, Qi Yue was like a huge sponge. He changed his former lazy behavior and quickly absorbed all these knowledge. Of course, this was just theoretical. Constant practice was needed if he was to progress.

The reason for Hai Ruyue's increased tolerance towards Qi Yue was closely related to his hundred-day sleep. Over those hundred days, Hai Ruyue did her best to postpone her work and practiced beside Qi Yue every day. A hundred days, neither long nor short, greatly benefitted her from the stronger Kirin Breath on him, which directly enabled her to progress from the middle phase of The Fifth Cloud to its later phase. The soul of the Kirin King, the shadow of Xie Zhi, and the initial awakening ability Qi Yue invoked all indirectly changed Hai Ruyue's attitude toward him a little. Although Hai Ruyue didn't want to admit it, she knew in her heart that the importance of the Kirin to the Zodiac Guardians was gradually becoming evident.

Walking into the campus, Qi Yue was immediately drawn by the novelty of the school scene. He didn't care about the strange looks from the students around him, and walked straight into the campus.

Qingbei University gave Qi Yue a feeling of ancient and classical charm. When Qi Yue heard from Hai Ruyue that she was going to study here, his jaw dropped in surprise. After all, Qingbei University is the dream destination of countless students. When he asked Hai Ruyue how she enrolled, Hai Ruyue simply said, "Money can make the devil turn the millstone."

The Qingbei University campus is located in the flourishing garden area in the northwest suburbs of the Capital City. It was developed from several ancient royal garden sites. Surrounded by prestigious institutions and famous ancient relics, the Qingbei campus has fine trees, clear waters, and graceful greeneries. The clear spring water from the Wanduan River meanders through the campus, forming several lakes and streams. Surrounded by all the ancient buildings and verdant plants on campus, Qi Yue would have thought he was in a park if not for the sight of the four characters of "Qingbei Academy" outside.

Just as Qi Yue was walking, a young woman, slightly older than him, came towards him. She wore jeans, a white shirt, and her black hair was tied into a ponytail. She had a refreshing look, a melon-seed shaped face with big blinking eyes, and an appropriately thin and curved body. Although she wasn't extremely beautiful, her pretty face exuded an ethereal aura, making her absolutely an impulsive level beauty. The jeans outlined her perfect curves, and although her bust wasn't spectacularly bountiful, it was just the perfect handful. She was slowly walking in his direction while holding several thick books in her hands.

A playful thought emerged in Qi Yue's mind. He didn't expect his luck to be this good - he came across a little beauty right after arriving at Qingbei. Such an opportunity could not be missed. As he approached the girl with large strides, he deliberately glanced towards the lotus leaves in the nearby lake when he was about five meters away from her. By doing so, he positioned himself to pass by the girl inadvertently.

Qi Yue's calculation was very precise. Just when he caught a whiff of a subtle and charming fragrance, while looking at the lotus leaves, he immediately spun around. In this manner, his body turned sideways, his back directly facing the young woman.

His plan went perfectly well, he suddenly felt a jolt in his back and heard a soft groan.

"Ah! Sorry, I didn't notice." Qi Yue turned around in a hurry, adopting an anxious expression. The girl's books had fallen on the ground because of the collision, so Qi Yue hastily squatted to pick them up.

Stunned from the sudden collision, the girl too quickly bent down to pick her books. As she grabbed one, Qi Yue had already managed to grab the same one, his hand just barely brushing against her slender, beautiful fingers. Startled, the girl recoiled, leaving the book in Qi Yue's hands.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," Qi Yue apologized repeatedly, holding his gaze from wandering to the sensitive parts of the girl's body. After his encounters with Ji Mingming and Hai Ruyue, he had come to understand just how important a first impression is to a girl.

The two stood up. Now that he was closer to the girl, the faint charming scent from her nearly intoxicating Qi Yue. He handed the books back to the girl, scratched his head awkwardly, and said, "I'm really sorry, I didn't see you."

A hint of a smile spread across the girl's face, and she said in a soft voice, "It's okay, just be careful next time. The lotus leaves in autumn indeed are beautiful."

Qi Yue was delighted, knowing that he had come across a gentle beauty. He quickly said, "Senior sister, I am new here, I arrived late for the registration. Could you tell me how to get to the dean's office?"

The girl looked at him somewhat confused and said, "Our school has a deadline for registration. If you're late, I'm afraid…"

Qi Yue replied, "That's okay, I've already had someone apply for a leave on my behalf. As long as you show me the way to the dean's office, it would be more than enough."

The girl half-turned and pointed to the path behind her, "Go straight through the corridor ahead, keep going, turn left at the end, and then right. The office is room 103, on the first floor of that teaching building."

"Thank you, senior sister. I accidentally bumped into you, yet you still helped me. I feel quite ashamed. May I know your name, so I can make it up to you with a treat?"

The girl chuckled, covering her mouth and said, "You youngsters these days, your tricks keep getting better and better. Just remember, focus your energy on your studies." With that, she walked away towards her original destination, still holding her books.

This time, Qi Yue was truly embarrassed. He didn't expect the trick he thought was slick got seen through. Staring at the girl's receding figure, he called out, "Senior sister, you haven't told me your name yet."
