Unveiling Dimensions

The warehouse, a nexus of groundbreaking innovation, was silent except for the soft hum of servers and the occasional murmur from Orion, Wesley's advanced AI companion. "Okay, now that he has left, let's dive into True VR," Wesley announced, a hint of excitement in his voice.

[Orion] "Yes, sir. Would you like me to monitor your brain activity as you venture into the virtual world through the headset?"

"Yes, and accompany me. I want to stay connected," Wesley instructed, adjusting the sleek visor over his eyes. The real world faded away as he was transported into a breathtaking virtual expanse.

Upon entering, Wesley found himself in an idyllic setting, a vast plain of vibrant green under an azure sky, the tranquility palpable. "Orion, where am I?" he inquired, taken aback by the serene beauty.

[Orion] "I placed you in a calming area. In this reality, I possess the ability to shape the environment, though I aim to preserve its essence for potential insights into our own world."

"I see. Good to know. Currently what is the time dilation set at? I know from the knowledge I gained we can adjust it, but what is the maximum we can do?"

[Orion] "Well sir, that depends. For you or for other people?"

"Uhhhh, why do you say that?"

[Orion] "I scanned your brain and it is currently different from others."

Orion then displays a screen of two human brains. The one on the left is Wesley's, while the one on the right is the average human brain. However there is a big difference. On the average brain, you can see basic brain waves and the brain operating and functioning normally. However for Wesley's, this is not the case. His has blue circular wisps layering over his brain pulsating throughout it, almost amplifying its functions on an exponential level.

"Interesting, so comparing the two, what is the maximum dilation I can do and then for the average person as well?"

[Orion] "Given that I do not know what this is; however, seeing that it is strengthening and amplifying your brain on an exponential level, I would guess you could handle a 10:1 dilation on the lower side. However I am trying to make sure I keep you safe, otherwise we might be able to push it further, but I do not want to cause your mind damage. The average human right now can only handle a 2:1 dilation within this virtual reality."

"Wow! Well 10:1 was higher than I was expecting. but I will take it."

"We need to begin testing things in this reality so that way I don't have to rely on the system to always come up with new things. If I make it where everything regarding knowledge is just fed to people instead of them actually learning it, I could do more damage than good." Wesley said aloud.

[Orion] "Sir based off of scanning your brain, I already have a solution to your idea."

[Orion] "Based on all my data I have collected regarding the human brain, all the research that has been posted to the web, autobiographies of some of the most well renowned scientists. I can create virtual humans who can test a variety of theories with unlimited resources. This way they can develop technology for the future and you do not need to rely on your system."

"Good idea, let's proceed."

After Wesley said that, the world around them began to shift, massive laboratories began to appear to the left and right of him. Where wesley was standing became a massive well paved road that led down to a giant roundabout. Surrounding the roundabout were 5 main labs that both spanned in length and in height reaching 10 stories tall. Then labs were continuously being instantly generated down the road to him where intersections and more roads were being created with various labs from small research in 'cross-breeding' animals to create new life and new food resources, to massive research regarding nano-technology and more.

Then after all the buildings were formed, thousands of humans with various lab coats started spawning around wesley, as they then went to there labs and began to work on their various interests.

"Do these 'humans' have free will?" Wesley asked with curiosity and a sense of worry.

[Orion] "Yes and no, when it comes to their research and which task they will focus on, no, simply because each one is based on different research done in the real world where I gave them a passion for that topic, thus that topic wasn't of their own choice. However their personality and how they interact within this reality will be all free choice. That is why I created housing and other living necessities to keep them happy and allow them to focus on their work."

"Whew okay, that is good."

**DING** **DING**

A system notification letting Wesley know something has occurred. So Wesley promptly logged out of the virtual world while the True virtual reality kept running for the researchers to make progress in a variety of fields. Once out Wesley opened the system:

[FIRST ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED]

PLEASE CHOOSE REWARD:

1. 1,000,000,000 KP

2. SYSTEM EVOLUTION

3. 3 CHOSEN WISPS

'What the-' Wesley thought to himself, but then read what achievement he unlocked. Over 100 million people have downloaded his video game and another 30 million have downloaded his gaming engine. Thus his total KP he has generated from the start has reached over 250 million. Thus giving him his achievement.

'Hmmmm, the KP is not really necessary since I have been able to earn it somewhat easily, however the prices do continue to increase in the shop, but it is not necessary. The system evolution is the most intriguing. The system is already powerful right now regarding all the knowledge I can acquire. The third option is also nice because the wisps are a lot more expensive compared to regular knowledge and one of them is already so powerful so having 3 more would be amazing....' Wesley thought about what choice he wanted to make.

"I am going to go with system evolution. That seems to be the best." Thus selecting the reward, the system immediately sent him a notification.

[SYSTEM EVOLUTION ABOUT TO BEGIN]

[HIBERNATION PERIOD STARTING]

"WHAT, ORION, protect me with whatever you have to do! FUCK-"

[5] [4] [3] [2] "Orion, do not let anyone in here no matter the cost!" [1]

[HIBERNATION PERIOD COMMENCING]

As the hibernation period began, Wesley's consciousness slipped into a deep, induced slumber, his body and mind at the mercy of the evolving system. The warehouse, once a hub of ceaseless activity, stood still, guarding its occupant's vulnerable state. However, while the warehouse was silent, the World would be undergoing massive changes when Wesley awoke, not realizing the damages he might have caused.
