Twin Destiny

While everyone was enjoying the party, Leon, back at his home, stared at the golden card in his hands.

It was a golden card with the name "Twin Destiny Bestowal Card."

It was reward for him after he saved many people from the Plague, like an hidden achievement, and it came out of random raw, not to forgot it is unknown rarity Card.

"System, explain its function to me," Leon said.

[Its function is simple: it will allow you to have two lives.]

[After using it, the host will once again transmigrate, while the host's current world will be frozen. In other words, the host can return to this world whenever they wish, and when the host returns to this world from the second world, that world will freeze.]

[Simply put, it's like the host is living two lives at the same time.]

Leon nodded and asked " Will it really froze this whole world?"

[No, its like Host returning to exact this spot, if Host were to use it now] System replied and Leon nodded and then crushed the golden card in his hands.

Leon's surroundings froze as the System said, and then they began to crack. As the cracks developed, the surroundings started to fall apart like broken pieces of a mirror. Soon, Leon found himself standing in the middle of a vast white expanse.

"I was wondering who the lucky one might be, but it seems it's both bad luck and good luck for you," a kid-like voice suddenly sounded in the vast expanse.

The white expanse began to shift, and soon Leon found himself in a room.

"This is my room," Leon said as he looked around and saw his room from his first life—his computer, his bed, his posters—everything as it was.

"Well, of course it's your room," Leon turned to see the source of the voice and found himself staring at the original Leon from his first life.

"What are you?" Leon asked as he tried to access his mana, only to find no movement in his hand in surprise.

"You are in my domain; nothing works here," the original Leon said, inviting him to sit.

The surroundings seemed to shift once again, and this time, Leon found himself in the room from his second life.

"Please sit; I don't like wasting my time," he said with no emotion on his face.

Leon, now feeling helpless, nodded and sat in the chair.

"Now, let me give you a summary of what will happen to you after you use the Golden Twin Destiny Bestowal Card."

"First, you will once again reincarnate into any world of your choice."

"And this is the only function it's supposed to have. But... you've become an anomaly in this matter. Though I also discovered the bug, so I should thank you for that."

"Now, as I said, you are both lucky and unlucky in this regard. The original purpose of this card was to bestow two lives so that if in any of their lives they were to be killed by another champion, they would simply resume their second life as if nothing happened."

"You are unlucky in this regard because tutorial worlds never have any other champions to begin with. Moreover, only champion can kill another champion. A champion's immortal soul will simply transmigrate them to another world if they were to be killed by a denizen of their own world." he said.

Leon nodded, feeling a bit guilty for wasting such a treasure.

"What about the luck part?" he asked, hoping the luck aspect would at least be beneficial.

The being fell silent before replying, "That is the bug part."

"You see, because you used it in a tutorial world, it means your other transmigration will also be into a tutorial world. This means you'll receive all the privileges of a newly-formed champion."

"Like the newbie gift pack by me?" He said.

"By you? Wait! Are you the Will of Reality?" Leon asked, his eyes widening.

"Yes, I am. Now, back to the topic," the Will of Reality said, staring at Leon.

"Because of your extreme luck, the balance will be in shambles if I bestow two newbie gift packs to you, so we are here to negotiate," the Will of Reality continued.

"Normally, a newbie gift pack includes: the first-time best free use of your cheat, which in your case is the highest-tier Gacha; a legacy suitable for the world, like in your tutorial world where it was a grimoire; and a talent-awakening crystal."

"Though the other items are not a problem, the issue is with the Cheat Creation Card, which allows you to create a cheat for yourself as long as it's unique in its own way, even if it's less than 1%."

"I can't let you have two cheats; that would be balance-breaking, causing other gods to revolt and plunging this reality into chaos," he said.

"So, will you give me something else in exchange for the Cheat Creation Card?" Leon asked.

"Yes, state your demands. As long as they're not too excessive, I will agree to them," he said, sighing.

Leon nodded and then took time to think about it.

After some time, Leon opened his mouth and said, "Okay, I agree to the terms. Although it can't be six, only five at best."

"Plus, the designated character card will be random from their life, which means it can't be at its peak but at any point in the character's life."

Leon agreed to the terms, and then the Will of Reality said, "Happy journey."

He waved his hand, and Leon found himself on a king-sized bed, with a beautiful woman pinning him down.

"It's Great. I lucked out that I got such a handsome champion," the woman, or the Goddess of Wet Dreams, said as she leaned in and began to kiss Leon.

Leon blinked, acting confused. From what he knew about the Will of Reality, he was supposed to go through everything from the start, including meeting his Patron God, who would choose him as their champion.

Leon sighed and began to enjoy the kiss, his hands moving to her curves as he explored them and savored the moment.

After some time, when the Goddess felt satisfied, she stood up, adjusted her clothes, and said, "Let me explain where you are."

It was the same boring speech Alaric once gave him.

She then also handed him the Cheat Creation Card. Leon took it, pretended to create something with it, and then handed it back to her. She forwarded it to the Will of Reality for approval. Once it was approved, she infused it into him.

"I, the Goddess of Wet Dreams, Trixie, will wait for you. Next time, I will go beyond what we left at," she said as Leon began to fall, soon turning into a rainbow light. As he closed his eyes and opened them again after some time, he found himself in a place filled with dead bodies.

Moreover, he was buried under them.
